Repeat Buyer
Over the past 4 years I have bought several sets of these hooks. The original 8 hooks were the swivel type, and the last several batches, bringing me to a total of 24, were the fixed hooks shown in this listing. I love them, and I love the fact I can just add some more to my existing pan rack as the need arises.I have switched to preferring the fixed hooks over the swivel hooks, as they suit the needs of my rack better and are more rigid. Both work great, but I realized that I don’t need the swivel function that I originally assumed I would.As I said in my original review, you need a 7/16″ wide slat for these hooks to fit into, and they have a 1.5-inch diameter top disk. But unlike the swivel type, the fixed hooks don’t care how thick your slats are, and can be anything less than 1-3/8″ thick. Incredibly Strong Pot Hangers
Recently purchased a second set of these hangers. I previously had gotten some of these and some of the similar, swivel hangers. I like these better. The swivel seems like potentially a nice feature. However, when you attempt to hang a pot, the hook often swivels away from you, which is an annoyance.These hooks are incredibly strong and have a nice finish. Although it’s not stated, I would guess that one of these hooks could easily hold over a hundred pounds. I built my rack to accommodate these hooks. If you are using them with a store-bought rack, just be certain that the rack slats have at least a 7/16″ spacing.

Adding a few more to a great pot & pan hanging rack
We purchased the original rack years ago and recently have been finding that we have to double up pans on a single hook. That got worse and worse. finding these to add to our rack made a big difference.

Perfect match to 16 year old hooks
These hooks matched the original hooks on my 36 inch Cooks Kitchen pot rack/shelf purchased 16 years ago. They are a perfect match in size, shape, and quality. They are actually a little shorter than 4.25 inches which matches the older hooks I have. Packaging and shipping was just fine, no problems to report.

Just like the hooks that came with our pot rack long ago
Our pot rack is two wood slats, which hang from two bolts in the ceiling, via master hooks at the two ends. We got it maybe 30 years ago? These are the correct hooks for hanging pots & pans from it. They match our originals and allowed us to add more pots to our rack. These do not swivel, as we prefer. It’s easier to hang a pan on a non-swivel hook. As with the original hooks, these can move slightly in their channel as you hang a pan, which lets you adjust hook positions according to pan sizes.

Solid hooks
These are a bit expensive at $5 per hook but it’s worth it for high quality cast aluminum. There is a bit of a lip down the center where there two halves of the casting mold came together like you can see in the product photos but I can run my fingers over it and it’s not sharp enough to cut me at all.

Me tardé mucho en escribir esta opinión porque me olvidé de que los ganchos existÃan en mi cocina y es porque no me han dado ningún problema. Perdónenme hermosos ganchitos, no los habÃa recomendado pero es que es como si no existieran porque están ahà quietecitos haciendo su función sin ruidos, sin óxido, sin quejas, aguantando todo lo que les cuelgo. Bueno ya hablé muy bien de ustedes asà que me despido. Si los compran no se van a arrepentir.
