**Serves its purpose nicely; is handsome; is easy to put together**
Really great product and looks very nice in my small studio kitchen. If I had enough storage space, I might not choose to have my pots and pans out on display but since my space is very limited and my pots are gorgeous, this serves my needs extremely well.*It is sturdy*It is very nice looking in an organic way*It is versatile~you can put your lids in the slots in the top and your pots adjacent*You can place the hooks in multiple ways to work out how best to store your particular items.*It is easy to put together*Must be placed in studs (if you are not sure how to find studs, search online for easy tutorials)For me, I purchased a few extra swivel hooks to give me more flexibility. Depending on your space and the traffic in the vicinity of your rack (and the height of your peeps) you may want to make adjustments. For example, one end of my rack is close to my fridge so to keep my bun (hair) from running into the pans as I access my fridge, I hung the shortest pans on that end. You can also hang in layers with your pans facing the wall or you can hang them “spooning” each other if you have enough of the swivel hooks. So do yourself a favor and get some extra hooks so you can avoid frustration and have the flexibility to work out the configuration that best meets your needs. Also, depending on how you place the hooks, it may be bothersome to some that the pots sit on top of the hooks. If you move the hooks to the outermost slot, you might be able to avoid that annoyance. If the pots are sitting on top of the hooks, you may not be able to safely slide the hooks around without jostling your pots. Just something to think about. It is just the way it is designed and I have worked around that so it doesn’t really bother me but it may be a problem for some.Overall, I really like this product; it has made good use of wasted wall space for much needed storage space in my small kitchen.Good Luck.

Looks great! Easy to install. No complaints so far.
I read that another reviewer received 4 swivel hooks and 2 stationary hooks, so I was going to order some extra swivel hooks, but I’m glad I didn’t. My set came with 6 swivel hooks. So, either my set wasn’t packaged correctly, or the manufacturer read the complaints about the stationary ones and started packaging them with 6 swivels. Other than that, I bought this for my wife and she loves everything about it! As such, so do I.It was very easy to install once I gathered all the tools. It took about 8 minutes to measure, mark, drill, and mount. This thing is just what we needed—it freed up an entire cabinet! Now we have space to put more junk! :DI docked a star for sturdiness because out of the 15 round wooden spacers that go between the planks, one or two were cut slightly narrow, which left a small gap when installed (SEE PHOTO). Perhaps, it’s not the dowel spacers and instead caused by the width of the planks? I don’t know. Either way, I don’t consider that a complaint because it doesn’t bother me all that much—just an observation future buyers might want to consider. As far as I’m concerned, it’s been hanging on the wall for nearly 2 months (at the time of writing this). Every now and again, I’ll walk by and pull down on it considerably just to make sure it hasn’t weakened anywhere. Well, the the thing hasn’t budged (then again, it’s mounted to studs). So far, I’ve not a single complaint, and as long as there’s no UPDATE mentioning otherwise at the bottom of this review, then it’s still hanging where and how it should.UPDATE: We’re 6 months in and this thing has held up as expected. I have no regrets with this purchase at all (so far). I’ve also awarded the 5th star because the spacing from the dowel inserts honestly is not a big deal to me. In fact, I forgot about the issue entirely until updating this review just now. If anything changes, I’ll update my review.

Perfect as is. But I modified it. Will use parts included at two different houses.
This product is honestly perfect without any modification. But we separated the parts and will use them at two different houses. (((( Bottom line, the only parts I am in LOVE with, are the HOOKS ))) You could buy the hooks alone and create your own DIY pot rack. I absolutely detest the thin, standard loose S -shaped hooks that move around and fly off into the room when I remove pans. Family with poor eyesight or shaky hands can SEE these hooks better when placing pots/pans.I purchased this product for a house that needs the 36″ long shelf. But we ended up playing around with the parts and creating one for the house shown in this review that has a 48″ wide window space and the top cabinet trim plus short space above to ceiling prevented being able to use the brackets here. We only used 3 of the 4 provided metal posts that hold it all together and we used 18 of the 20 included spacers, and all the hooks. Which leaves the nice looking L brackets and 36″ long wood slats for the original house intended’s application. I will figure out spacers and anchoring the slats together for that one later. My order came with 6 swivel hooks and I ordered an extra 4 pack of the non-swivel (Cooks Standard fixed pot rack solid cast pan hooks, set of 4,19.99 ) and then ordered more hooks! The hooks require an exact 1/2″ gap to fit between period, to drop them down into best fit. The boards provided measure 1 and 7/16 wide (7/16 is in between 3/8 and 1/2 on my tape measure) The pine boards I ended up using were wider. 2 inches wide ( versus the 1 and 7/16″ provided ) and the hooks dropped down and swivel fine.I bought seven, 6 foot long pine boards as straight as I could find. Light sanded, applied a clear polyurethane coat, vice gripped them together and pressed them flat to drill the 3 holes through for the metal posts. Otherwise any deviation in the levelness along the length will cause the round disk atop those hooks to not set flat or slide horizontally properly. After relieving the pressure, the wood deviated slightly but threading the posts through the holes, and screwing it tight together, got everything straight again. The wood slats that actually came with the product are perfectly flat and straight!I could only go as wide as 7 boards due to the number of round wooden 1/2″ spacers available using 3 posts. But 7 slats wide is good for this house.I am most likely going to order loads of hooks and create my own above island rack for a relatives home.Now. As far as the 4 included metal posts. Between the back of the screw heads at both ends, you have exactly 5 and 11/16 inch of space to squeeze wood slats and spacers. Only one of the two ends each, of the 4 provided posts has a removable screw. It is allegedly, a Metric 4 machine screw. I could not find an M4-7 screw in the right length anywhere. Only a few M4’s would not screw in well, to tight v loose. I got a 4 pack of not ideal but worked #6-32 x 3″ long and had to add a flat washer. The #6 type machine screw, perfectly tightened into 3 of the 4 metal posts and just spun in only one of them would not tighten down, but I only needed 3 so it worked out well. The #6 had a little concerning play, back and forth in the metal post but again… tightened down. The products nice looking screw head is facing the kitchen and my uglier screw head is facing the wall. The screw heads do make it look more finished. But you could build one without using posts as long as that 1/2″ wide gap and 2″ board width is used for the pot hooks to set and slide properly.

This product looks good and is easy to assemble. Each component is separate in the box including each round wooden spacer to space out the battens. When I bought the product I knew it would be too long for the available space and I cut 1.5″ off each end of the wooden battens and drilled the required holes in each end. It was easy to do with a chop saw and cordless drill. By placing all the sliding hooks in the space farthest from the wall you can place extra pots or lids on top of the rack. The main brackets are adjustable so it should be easy to locate the studs behind the wall (with the help of a stud finder).

Love this product. Wanted something to go with our light wood cabinets, brushed nickel back splash and hardware.Had to cut 6 inches off either end to fit chosen location. This frees up a cupboard, and most often used pots are close at hand. Very sturdy, and attractive. Highly recommend !!

Nice Finish; wished the aluminium support should have been more strong so to support heavier utensils and heavier/better nails as ones provided along weren’t long/strong enough.

I found this item a bit on the pricey side, especially if you consider that Americans pay less than half the price for this item on AmazonHaving said that, the quality is there. We installed this higher up on our wall and it really brings the ceiling up. It looks terrific in our modestly sized kitchen and we now have some freed up space in our cubbards for less used items.
