Perfect Set!
I may not use any of my other mixing spoons again. The small spoon is a great fit in the hand. The thin profile of the spoon allows you yo get under the food easily and turn the food in a pan or bowl. The larger spatula has a great shape for scraping and scooping large amounts. I think I found the perfect set, at a great price!! Buy it … try it … you’ll love it!

I admit I’ve only had the set for one day so far; however, I’m thrilled with the cooking spoon. I saw the pricier Staub set and thought this shaped cooking utensil would be useful and my spatula had some dings with age. I decided to see if there was a more cost-effective solution. I liked the reviews and the color options so opted for this set.I used the cooking spoon with a sheet pan of sausage, gnocchi, tomato & pepper meal last night. Stir & spoon…. it did it all, and is large enough to scoop up a fair bit. While the edge isn’t super thin or sharp, I didn’t really have trouble getting the mildly stuck-on bits up. I haven’t put it through enough of its paces yet to say how difficult that will be.The color is pretty and goes well in my kitchen. The wood finish isn’t super high quality but for the price paid for these, I’ll take that trade-off. I have only ever used the rice scooper that came with my rice cooker so it will be interesting to try this one – and maybe see what else it might be useful for.

Unlike black turners, they seem unable to melt or leave carbon behind. However, they should be hand washed because the wooden handles do not do well in the dishwasher please. Easy to rub some olive oil on them and make them like new.
