Works great.
This Dutch oven is better than I expected. Very heavy cast iron with big handles for both top and bottom sections. I can not see how the more expensive ones could work any better. I’ve used this three times already to make bread and it baked the bread even on all sides with no hot spots. Don’t waste your money on more expensive ones.

Great
Itâs heavy! Iâve made sourdough bread in this and it cooked it perfectly!! I like that I can use this in the stove and in the oven.

Wonderful
Honestly, I didn’t believe how fast you can cook a stew for two people before using this pot. Its inner chamber accumulates heat so well that even on a very small gas flame, the stew cooks in about 20 minutes. I purchased the appropriate cleaning soap and oil for cast iron, so cleaning is also a breeze. I cannot be more satisfied than this.

Great for single person stews and soups.
Love the size. I can make small meals (stews and soups) with a little bit leftover. Self basting lid is a plus. There was a small bubble in the seasoning layer but that can be fixed easily.

A Go-To Pot
OK, it is not a Lodge brand. But it works well enough for my needs and saved me some money in the process.PROS: – Overall good quality – Easy to clean (no soap – scrub with salt, rinse, then season with oil) – Heats well. Does not seems to have hot/cold spots. – Versatile – stove, oven, grill. Heck, could use in a campfire if I wanted to. – Lid fits well and keeps heat inCONS: – Initial seasoning from factory was garbage so needed to be re-done prior to using – Weird design with plastic lid handle which is not oven-friendly (so I took it off) – Had a few sharp edges on it – hit it with a file to smooth off

Money saver
I was looking for a budget friendly, but quality Dutch oven for quite some time. I happened across this one and the price was right. I live in a tiny space and needed a medium sized Dutch oven for making my sourdough bread and I also wanted to use it for other things. The size is perfect and I love the handles on the sides and lid. It fits perfectly in my toaster oven and smoker. I love that it is a quality piece at a fraction of the price of some other brands. Would recommend and I would definitely buy again.

Lid handle broke during first use. Rusted lid after 2nd use!
I am thoroughly frustrated with this product! In addition to the lid handle breaking during first use, while baking bread, now after only using twice, the inside of the lid is covered in rust. And, No, I did not leave it in water. I tried baking soda, vinegar to clean it but it needs major scrubbing. Because The entire surface of the dutch oven is extremely rough, it very difficult to clean; it basically demolished the rough side of the sponge I was using. I reached out to manufacture and got no response! I donât have a picture because honestly I just canât spend more time on product !

I bought an expensive enamelled dutch oven for my sour dough loaves but after every bake it would get dark spots all over the outside of it, even though I would scrub it immaculately before putting it in the oven. Then I saw someone suggest to use non enamelled cast iron pot and this price was so excellent that I thought I would give it a try.Very happy with my bread results. Great size for a loaf and well made.Someone mentioned that the knob was plastic but mine is not, it is cast iron and held up well in a 450 degree oven.It did have a smell when heating it in the oven at first. I would recommend for first use to heat and cool it maybe once before actually using.

Like that the top is a skillet so I can use like a fry pan. Keeps great heat, I’m cooking everything in it at the moment.
