Aesthetically Pleasing
These shelves are so stinking cute and super easy to install! The size of them holds about 7 seasoning bottles. They are super sturdy and are great for storage.They didnât work as well for me, because unfortunately I am living in a camper, and the shelves canât be drilled in to the wall so I tried using self adhesive strips, but the shelf leaned forward. It didnât fit correctly on my wall, but still is fine sitting against the backsplash behind my stove.

Both fit well.My thing came with two mounting systems: screws and the sticky hangers. Now consider this – this thing is VERY HEAVY without any spices. I was truly surprised HOW HEAVY the shelf is, it is made from some metal that clearly is substantial. I would not think it is aluminum, possibly stainless steel or any other steel with chrome finish. Having said that, mounting with screws seem like better and sturdier option.I found that they have the same little self stick hangers to buy individually so you can try and buythem to install that way if you want but some reviewers pointed that it is not holding well.Now after I saw it in my hand I know why. It really is so heavy that screws seem to be ideal system.So if you want the metal look this thing is definitely a beauty and well made item.PLASTIC========So I got also plastic one to decide with will work better for my situations of different places I needed them for.This was my other contender for the job.. again.. Mounted with screws to inside cabinet door makes finding spices easier
I opted to use my own screws #8×1/2″ since the screws that come with the product are too long for cabinet doors. It’s a bit painful to mount with only one set of hands considering that I tried to mount it so I didn’t totally lose the shelf space where the rack would be when the door is closed. I made a paper template to help determine where to drill the pilot holes for the screws. It would have been nice if the product came with pre-made templates.Biggest complaint is that there are manufacturing inconsistencies between the 4 pieces and the mounting holes are not in the same place on all 4 so I needed to make different templates for each unit. This was discovered after mounting the second unit only to realize that the unit had a 3/8″ slope when I used the template from the first unit.Second issue is the noise of the spice jars clanking against the rack metal when opening the cabinet door. I’m debating about adding something to the bar to help dampen the sound without making it a challenge to easily put the jars into the rack.As others have noted, these racks will not hold larger diameter spice jars but work fine with the common 1.75″ (45mm) diameter Spice Island and McCormick and Badia jars.

Best with small spice jars and screwed into a wall, not adhered to a surface.
The product is ok. One of the small bars came unwelded quickly. The clips with the adhesive backing are useless. The adhesive seems like it would stay but it doesn’t. The clips take up space making it difficult to fit the spice jars into the rack. I think they might be ok if they were screwed into a wall, but that is not an option if you have a tile back splash.

These are a narrow/odd width but they work well…
I needed racks for the back of the narrow door on my pantry. Shelf space is valuable and the more common over-the-door hanging racks were much too wide. I was able to mount these on a pair of 1/2′ x 1.5″ boards I picked up at Home Depot I then attached to the back of my pantry door. I am now able to store all of my standard sized spices there and free up a great deal of shelf space. Amazon also has some wire racks that are slightly deeper but than these but the same width that will accommodate the larger sized spice containers that I will be adding to this setup. Over all, I’m pleased with the quality, size and sturdiness of these racks.
