Best I’ve used so far.
A dull knife is an accident waiting to happen. I’ve had many a knife sharpener in my time but this one is the one I pull out when I have a dull knife. It works well & you’re not wasting time getting your knife sharp.

Works very well
This was my second purchase of this product. The other one just wore out. I have decent knives, but not top shelf. For my purposes, this sharpener works great and makes a very sharp edge. Very easy to use and a nice size that will fit n the drawer.

Good Value
I sharpen my good cooking knives every time before I use them. This keeps my primary knife sharp enough to cut a ripe tomato with relative ease. The lifespan is limited, and with this sort of use it wears out in 6 to 9 months, but for the price, this is a good value.

It works !!!
I’m always buying knife sharpeners, looking for one that actually works – rather than kinda works…This is not an expensive sharpener, but guess what? It works. Yes, you really do draw the blade back and forth in the slot, in a sawing action. Other sharpeners treat that as an action to be avoided at all cost, so I was initially a little dubious. But it works. and I like how the blade shows a uniform even bevel on the edge after sharpening; some sharpeners really chew up the blade. If you use it a lot, it will wear out and you won’t feel the drag of the honing stones inside, but with a price this low I could care less. It gives a really sharp edge and it couldn’t be easier to use.I’m a really picky sharp knife person, and I definitely recommend this one.

Honest review
Reading some of this sharpener’s other reviews, you would think it could turn butter knives into samurai swords. Hardly. Does it work? Yes, but the sharpener is small, rather hard to hold firmly, and requires a lot more back-and-forth motion than the highly exaggerated “It sharpened my kitchen knives in just 4-passes.” Yeah, right. 30-40 passes on each slot setting and you might be getting close to an acceptable edge. Will the knife be sharp? It will, but the edge will be imperfect and it will dull fast as the bevel will be off. Will the sharpener last? With irregular use, I would give this a year before the stones wear past usefulness. Truth, a powered rotary sharpener with real honing stones will outlast and be cost-saving versus this.

Purchase a new one every year.
I use this sharpener very frequently but have to buy a new one annually. It does a respectable job of keeping my kitchen knives sharp. As the months of use to by, the sharpening stones do a less effective job. It’s an inexpensive item so I guess that’s to be expected.

E SIRVE MUCHO YA QUE AFILA TAN BIEN MIS CUCHILLOS QUE ES FÃCIL CORTAR CON ELLOS HASTA LAS COSAS MÃS DIFÃCLES COMO EL TOMATE
Daniel –
