A hand crank can opener that works well and holds up for a long time.
I originally got this can opener because my wife had broken her elbow and couldn’t use that arm. I had seen a youtube video of a lady who was one-armed and how she did all her cooking. She recommended this can opener in her video so I thought we’d give it a try. This can opener is very sturdy. This is actually my second purchase. The first one lasted for probably 4-5 years of daily use. For a $15 hand crank can opener thats a pretty good life time. Even after my wife’s arm healed we kept using it because honestly it worked better than most of the electric can openers we have owned. If you appreciate simplicity, low cost, and the fact that it doesnt require electricity then I highly recommend this can opener. Of course if your missing an arm then I would also recommend this can opener. Overall its a surprisingly good product thats going to last even with frequent usage.

Great can opener!
My son can’t use his left arm and I found this “one handed” opener. I LOVE it!!! It is the only opener I use now because it is so easy. It has lasted for a long time and still works great BUT I bought a second one to keep in my cupboard in case it wears out. BUY IT! One of my best Amazon purchases.

awful junk, not well made at all. Return was easy.
awful junk, not well made at all. it just falls off the edge of the can depending on the size of the edge. this thing is really flimsy like its just going to break on day 1. on the positive returning was very easy and FREE.

Best Can Opener – EVER
I bought this can opener in an epic quest to find one for a family member who had a stroke, is elderly, and was struggling with opening cans. Long story short–she ended up buying an electric one (even though she still hates it) and didn’t even want to try this one. So I kept it, because I wasn’t in love with my “smooth edge” can opener.Life. Changing. I don’t have awesome grip strength–too many years typing at a desk job. Easiest can opener I’ve ever used. Squeeze until it clicks. Easy to latch onto cans, even easier to open the can, release button barely requires a push, magnet to remove the lid could be a little stronger. But being able to open cans with my non-dominant hand with ease? I’ll buy this one ten times over. Don’t even waste your time with the other junky ones.

Great one handed use
My husband had a stroke and can not use his left hand. He can now open a can fast and easily. It works great. Itâs plastic-ish I just hope it is durable. I would buy this for anyone who has limits

Works even better than I hoped!
I have nerve damage in my right hand and traditional can openers have always been difficult for me. I’ve tried the battery operated can openers, but on two occasions the battery died while in use and it was incredibly difficult to separate the can from the opener.I bought this model not expecting much, but for the price I figured it was worth a shot. The first time I used it I was amazed at how fast, clean and efficient it was. It’s simply a matter of opening a hinge mechanism (via a convenient thumb button) and placing it over the lip of can’s lid. Then simply squeeze the handle about ten times and the lid is seperated. No jagged edges or sharp burrs either. You get a nice clean cut.The EzSqueeze looks like it would be for Right handed people only, but it’s absolutely easy to use with your left hand as well. If you can make a fist, you can open a can. And, believe it or not, it’s even easier to use and faster than traditional can openers for people who have use of both hands. I’m actually surprised that this isn’t used by more people.

If you have one hand that doesn’t function properly like my wife, it is a great tool for her to open up a can of soup.
