Excellent results – and simple to use, easy cleaning
I have zero experience with an indoor grill. Bought two inexpensive steaks from Target, grilled low and slow, with the result of a very tasty steak that was easy to cut and chew. The steak cooked thoroughly without charring but with a bit of a sear (you can sear it more if you turn up the heat at the end). I think they tasted better than grilling outdoors for some reason. It’s simple to set this up, put water in the water pan, plug it in, and pop the steaks on the grill. Let the grill heat up first as instructed. Being able to grill steak, hamburger, chicken, sausage means I can cut down on buying out, so in the long term this is a money saver as well as an excellent grill. I see no negative issues with it other than, as an inexperienced grill-ist, I would have loved to have some recipe ideas along with the instructions. It was ABSOLUTELY smokeless while still catching the scent of grilled steak. Clean up was relatively easy; I let the grill soak in water for just a minute, then used a Scrub Mommy, and there was not a brown spot remaining.

the chefman electric smokeless indoor grill is great addition to my kitchen, especially for those days when i want to grill without having to go outside. the non-stick cooking surface is really convenient, making it easy to cook everything from veggies to burgers without a mess, and cleaning up afterward is simple too since the water tray is removable and dishwasher safe. i love that the adjustable temperature knob lets me switch from a gentle warm setting to a high sear, which means i can cook a wide variety of foods just the way i like. the only reason i m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that it takes s bit of time to heat up compared to some other grills. but once it’s ready, it cooks evenly and delivers great results. overall, its a reliable and handy grill that works well for indoor BBQ craving.

Excellent indoor grill I have several friends who rent apartments and they loved my grilling and I’m a female single and I get my grill on and they love it so much they all bought one excellent easy to clean iv had mine 3 years no issues

Almost great!
Bought this six months ago. At first it was perfect for our meals. We especially liked the feature of adding water to the tray. And there was no smoke! However, after about four months of use averaging about three times a week, it didn’t heat up as well as it had. It took longer to cook a burger or a piece of steak. Also, the “char” marks don’t appear anymore. Final assessment is that we wish it could have lasted longer at peak performance!

So I do like this grill was going to buy another for my sister. We will see. I like the modern look. It’s not a griddle it’s a BBQ so there are brown marks and if not turned burns and sure there’s no wood nor charcoal taste but think of a Korean BBQ and you get it. It does take a bit longer to cook. Ion my opinion the giant garlic shrimp from frozen took 5 mins longer than the box said for a BBQ and the steak done with the “idiot proof” thermometer too just over 24mins to get to well done. It was however a very very tender steak. If you play with the controls during warm up or cooking the system doesn’t like it and the e20 code has appeared once but only when trying to change time and temp during warm up. Power off and on and it’s fine again it’s like me in old age getting confused when too much is going on. The smokeless function really does work – you can smell the food cooking but there’s no smoke if that makes sense. You can see smoke getting pulled off the grill surface as you cook. I have an older Dimplex electric BBQ with computer cooking and it takes longer too but it does do a good job of doneness and safe food temps. Same here. For the price we are happy. We did not bring food to room temp before cooking as they say you should with regular BBQ. The steak was straight out the fridge the shrimp were frozen. We will try that next time it prob will reduce cooking time. There’s a couple of design changes I would make – but since I don’t work for them I guess they will stay that way. The water tray that condenses the smoke needs filled with a little water before every cook. It is however not super easy to get out – it’s doable – but they could have made more room. The styling is modern and functional and it’s largely easy to clean – if it came with a flat griddle plate as well it would be a really good product and super flexible so if you are listening Chefman a griddle plate or half griddle plate half bbq would be awesome for the intended market! I would buy it. Would fit this form factor very well. The lid could be designed to be flatter the low done design is heightened a lot by the handle and not sure why u need that giant handle. The unit is kind of aimed at travel use and infrequent BBQ users and those who can’t have a BBQ due to HOA rules – like in a condo. It does fit that market niche well as you do feel like ur BBQing but you can’t burn the house down so easily. But it does take a little longer – yet it does do it well. Everyone likes our steak and shrimp – we will be making more 😋

I have tried the indoor grills by Gotham Steel and Hamilton Beach and this one puts them to shame. Large surface area. Smokeless- be sure to follow instructions and add water to the drip tray. Easy to clean – again be sure to follow the instructions and avoid using a cooking spray.

Totalmente recomendable.Cuando la compre no le tenia mucha Fe por los comentarios que leí sobre que no cocinaba bien, pero creo que es porque no consideran que tiene diferentes zonas de calor.El único tema es que la siento un poco pequeña. Esta bien como para una o dos personas pero sin son más tendrían que ver si hay un modelo más grande o considerar comprar dos.Les dejo unas fotos para que vean como cocina y se den una buena idea del tamaño real.
