Pretty impressive on several levels
Not only is this a really good blade … had it a while and it does not disappoint. It’s also attractive, and it’s heavy enough to feel confident for any task.It is one tang so I’m not worried about crevices for food to hide. And look at that price! Under $20?? Seriously? Maybe get two because they’re inexpensive enough and you don’t have to wash it while going from meat to herbs? Why not?Totally recommended!

Sharp but Gets Spotty
I love how sharp and quickly this cuts through the majority of my veggies and frozen meat. It has a really heavy handle for a good sturdy grip and I like the size of the knife for the larger items that I have to cut. Most good quality knives are around this price, and while I do like this knife, I wouldn’t buy more because of the water spots and brownish spots that show up on it after a hand-wash and dry.

Love solid stainless knives
The grip and balance of solid knives like this is right on. It’s razor sharp right out of the box. Good value.

Durable, and Comfortable Chefâs Knife
This gorgeous 8-inch chefâs knife is a great addition to any kitchen. Itâs lightweight, and the seamless one-piece design makes it easy to clean. The handle feels secure with its anti-slip grip, offering good control while working. The blade is sharp and easily handles everything from chopping veggies to slicing meats. Itâs a reliable multipurpose knife that combines function and simplicity beautifully! A great gift for the person in your life who loves to cook.

A fine hunk of solid steel
I really like the simplicity of having a single piece of metal. I don’t have to worry about special care for the handle as I would with a wooden handle. Also, since this isn’t ceramic, it stands up to daily abuse much better, and I do abuse it.While it’s great for cutting meats, I also at times use knives like this as a can opener. This knife so far has been up to the task.Opening a can in such a way really can show the toughness of a knife and the quality of the steel. For cheap knives, the blade either gets bent right away or is horribly scratched. For higher quality knives, there usually isn’t any scratch. This knife didn’t have a scratch. With the higher quality steel, the blade holds its edge for much longer and requires fewer sharpenings.I got the Santoku knife which is well balanced for chopping vegetables yet sharp enough to take care of meats as well. Not so great with bone though, which is fair as this is not a cleaver. This knife does weight a bit more than my other knives but most of that weight is in the handle and I haven’t noticed any extra arm fatigue.

Shorter than my previous bread knife; otherwise OK
I last ordered a bread knife (a 10-inch bread knife) in 2018. I have been really happy with it, but it seemed in recent months it had been getting slightly dull, so I ordered this Cutqiz Bread Knife. At 8 inches in length, this Cutqiz bread knife is noticeably shorter than my previous knife, and that makes a real difference. (I did not notice this difference in length until I unboxed the Cutqiz bread knife today, and I noticed it looked shorter than a bread knife should be.) I tend to use a bread knife for fairly large round loaves of sourdough or other types of large loaves, so the length of the blade is important to me. For the loaves I cut, this Cutqiz bread knife is a bit too short to be truly useful. My old bread knife has a plastic handle that feels good in my hand. This Cutqiz bread knife is manufactured from a single piece of steel, so the handle (like the blade) is made of stainless steel. Now this is just me — and this probably does not apply to other people — but I just don’t like the feel of cold, polished steel in my hand. It’s kind of a “fingernails on the chalkboard” sort of effect for me, and I’m now realizing I prefer the feel of the plastic handle of my old bread knife much better. Again, this is not a criticism of the knife, as the knife handle (although slightly too small in my opinion) is well made. All in all, it’s a well made knife, but if you cut wide loaves like I do, then you might want to look for a bread knife with a longer blade. And be sure the feel of polished stainless steel in a knife handle doesn’t bother you before you order this knife.I should comment that I did slice one loaf of bread with this knife. Its sharpness is good. I wouldn’t call it outstanding, but it is good. It’s as good as my old bread knife. All in all, I prefer my old knife over this Cutqiz 8-inch bread knife, and I will only use this Cutqiz knife as a backup.

Excellent Weight & Balance. Sharp and stays Sharp.
I love cooking, and I especially love a good quality, heavy, weighted knife. I like a knife that will cut through a very thick roast, or even through bones in the meat, yet still remain sharp enough to slice a tomato or to finely and gently chop garlic or parsley without bruising the greens. This knife arrived perfectly sharp, heavy, and balanced in the hand. Beautiful presentation. Perfect for âquickly and easily â finely chop garlic. It has a Smooth even blade with no defects or dings. Well manufactured. Just like the Henckl and other fine knives. This one is quality and will last for years to come.UPDATED: I still love this knife and find itâs my go-to for everything small or large. A great value! Iâm going to see about gifting myself a couple paring and sandwich knives.

Excellent Santoku
I think this knife is extremely nice for the current price point. It has a nice weight to it, is very sharp, and looks really cool with its entirely steel structure. I have knives that sell for far more than this one that I like far less. Grab one while you can! I’m glad I got one.
