This is a nice slotted spoon/skimmer. The spoon portion of it is a good size for when you need to scoop something out of a pot. I’ve been trying to replace my nylon cooking utensils with stainless steel utensils because I’ve noticed that while the nylon utensils are much less expensive they don’t hold up so well. I’ve seen little bits of nylon starting to fray from the edges, and I don’t want these tiny bits to fall into the food.
