Fits old machine and works
Fit perfectly in my old DLC-7 and I tested it on chopping a carrot. So far, so good. Since it matches my broken blade, I expect it to continue to be a good replacement.

THE CENTER IS TOO BIG FOR THE DLC-7. TOTAL WAST OF $$$
The blade fit on the post easily, however, when you turn on the food processor it pops up and will not stay on the post that drives the blade. It’s way too big. It can’t be returned – damn out $23 bucks. Way not fair!!! My other parts fit the post and work perfectly except the blade one that broke and that this one was supposed to replace. You guys already knew it wouldn’t fit. Mad at you!

Had to throw my whole food processor out
Used the blade one time and it got stuck in the bowl and bowl would not release from my food processor. When I called cuisinart, they said to soak it in hot water but that didnât do anything. Had to throw my whole food processor away because I could not clean bowl as it would not lift off of electrical base. This happened the first time using new replacement blade. Never again.

Not an equal replacement…doesn’t stay in position when in use
Does not stay in place when in use…rises to the top allowing your processed substance to get underneath and push blades up until the blade piece separates from center cone it sits on.

Pay attention to the model number
Unfortunately, I did not double check the model number of my Cuisinart food processor before I ordered this, naively assuming most/all Cuisinart units came in a standard size. I have model DLC-8S-TX, and this blade is just a little too big to fit in the food compartment. So, even tho I have not actually used it, it looks sturdy and well made (just like the original Cuisinart blade). It is priced around the same cost of other similar blades.
