Functional product, packaged nicely
If you bake pies, you know pie weights are a necessity sometimes. These pie weights are reusable and better than using beans as weights, especially if you bake pies regularly. These are well made, easy to clean, they seem sturdy; and they come in a little plastic “tin box” that is attractive and functional as a storage container which is easy to stack and identify in the cabinet – the plastic storage box is a great selling point in itself! And yes, it is perfectly giftable.

Perfect if you buy two for a regular 9-in pie pan
Depending upon your pan size you might need more than two. Two containers work perfectly for all of my pie pans. If you have larger than 9 in or deep dish you might want to buy extras. They’re excellent quality and work great.

Terrific Baking Aid
It’s August of ’24 and I’ve been using these ceramic pie weights weekly for over a year. They’re just what I’ve needed and really make blind baking pie and tart crusts so much easier. I place them in a triple layered piece of aluminum foil which I can resuse and they hold down crusts remarkably well. I wish they were a bit less expensive but they fit in their tub and store very well. I washed and dried them well before my first use as they had some ceramic dust on them. I do recommend the: 5 stars.
