Amazingly Non-Stick!
I really hope this pan holds up and lasts.. I just used it for the first time, and it was wonderful. I made grilled cheese with scrambled eggs, my toast was just sliding back and forth across the pan, it wasn’t getting stuck at all.. my eggs similarly, just slid right over the pan, and I wasn’t trying to scrape lots of egg bits off.. instead, I dumped the eggs onto my plate, and the pan miraculously still looked perfectly clean after I had just cooked.. it was just perfectly non-stick. At least for this first round, that was a really pleasant cooking experience. I really do hope it lasts and stays just as non-stick, cause that was wonderful. Otherwise, I liked having that the pan has a lighter background to cook on, I felt like it really helped me see what I was cooking much better. Handle stayed cool, seems well made, worked beautifully.. It’s a little bit larger than a slice of bread, so that having one in the middle, there’s about an inch or so of room on all sides. Perfect for me to make my grilled cheeses. I currently have zero complaints or anything negative to say about it. At the moment, I really love this pan.

Excellent pans recommended
I’ve used other Carote non stick pans, but needed one for smaller items like eggs, etc. This is perfect for that. When they say non stick, it really does not stick. I use a little butter or a bit of oil and that’s really all you need. Your eggs will not stick to the surface, heck even cheese won’t. The other plus is it is extremely easy to clean, no need to scrub hard or use abrasive sponges, etc, some water and a droplet of soap is all you need to clean it. Also I’m not sure about other pans, but I love the handles on these. They are soft, as if you’re hold a velvety cloth. So I looked it up and it’s bakelite which explains everything. It’s extremely durable and will resist the heat well. These are extremely well made pans and I definitely recommend them to anyone that cooks. They will last. Also I have an electric stove in case anyone is wondering, no issues with heating up, etc. Works well. 5/5 recommended.

As always a fantastic product by Carote. BUT, a smaller fry-pan than expected!
We have been slowly replacing most of our saucepans and fry pans with this excellent brand to form a complete set.We order the pieces as they become available in the sizes that we need.So far, we have been extremely impressed and pleased with the cooking results and more importanly the cleaning results. It would be fair to say that we have had no issues so far, and NOTHING has stuck to these pans. We simply rinse them off and then hand wash them all in normal dish soap and they come out as clean as the day that we got them.Our ONLY concern with this brand is more of a long term issue.Traditonally wooden handles on metal sauce pans a fry pans, have not really been successful.Wood being a natural product is prone to expand and contract depending on moisture, and heat. And a daily used saucepan or fry pan with wooden handle, is no exception. So lets all hope that these handles dont fail over time.The other aspect to be aware of with any saucepans constructed in this manner, is their weight.These are not products for the faint of heart or limp-wristed.If you do not have arm strength or have weak wrists, pehaps search for lighter weight options.A Thick cast saucepan or skillet, with a fully laden container, will catch you by total surprise, if you are not used to it. And thats where accidents could happen.Being made of thick cast aluminum, with these pans you do not even need to turn the heat up much.Even setting the stove on the lowest heat setting, the heat conducts and distributes evenly across the pan providing quick boiling or, cooking.So, do not make the mistake of cranking up the heat too much, or you may wear out your kitchenware more quickly.More recently, we ordered a few new fry pans to add to our collection from Carote.This one, being the most recent and the smallest. And when I say smallest, I MEAN smallest!This is where my one and only gripe with this fry-pand is, so far.I saw on the dimensions and that it stated that it was 8″.My brain for some reason Calculates fry-pans in “EGG factor”. How many eggs will it fry at one time?So, 8″ – That’s a 2-egg fry pan, or so I thought. WRONG!The base is only barely 6″ and that means that it is only, a 1-egg fry pan. LOL! I forgot to check that aspect and dimension. So, we were a little disppointed in that.Thankfully the other fry pan that we ordered IS actually a 10″ fry pan, with an 8″ base for 2-eggs-ies!.Other than the sizing issue, just like the rest of their pots and pans, this little fry pan is top quality and excellent to use.

Nice pan, just what I wanted/needed
So far I am delighted with this pan. I ordered it mostly because I threw out my old non-stick pans because of health concerns over PFAS & PFOA and then found how badly eggs and sauces with cheese stuck to my healthy iron skillets. But this pan is great–ceramic pans do not present the health issues of the older kinds of nonstick from what I read on the internet, and they work well. My eggs did not stick at all.It’s an attractive little pan and the 8-inch size is just right for eggs and sauces. Even big enough to cook 2 veggie burgers!As a Vine participant, I did not have to pay for it, and these are my honest opinions. I would not hesitate at all to order a bigger ceramic pan from this producer should I need one.

Ceramic pans are the best.
I really like ceramic pans. To me, they are way better than any other kind. The non-stick surface really does work and it is more likely to hold up over time than old style non-stick pans.This particular frying pan is nice and heavy for its size and it cooks evenly, which I appreciate. This is the kind of pans they advertise on infomercials for a high price. This one is great yet it is very reasonably priced for this quality.Even the handle is more secure than average. Itâs a good handle and firmly affixed. This pan does not come with a lid but I have existing lids that fit it perfectly. This is the perfect frying pan for a burger or a couple of eggs and I will use mine often.
