Bit of a learning curve needed- but excellent pan!
Our old Calaphon deep nonstick pan warped up.We needed a good deeper pan that was nonstick.I’m a researcher when I buy. Everything. After narrowing down to 3 pans – I pulled the trigger on these pans.It was actually a Christmas present to ourselves ( wife and I).First, it’s packaged well. It’s definitely got a bit of weight to it. The lid fits well and it’s nice when cooking sausage or bacon instead of using our grease gaurd.A few important notes after using:You’ll need more heat than you’re probably used to.I cooked my kids pancakes in it. Typically, I set heat at 4-5. The first pancake took a long time to cook ( see the picture of light colored pancake). The second pancake I cranked heat to 8.Much better cooking time and better looking pancake ( I like crispy buttery edges on the pancakes).Pan heats evenly and lays flat on out glass cook top.My wife cooked eggs on it. First time…didn’t turn out fluffy. Second time…upped the heat and much better eggs.So note…higher heat needed. You almost have to heat it like a cast iron pan.Cleaning is great! Rinse and soft sponge and it’s clean.I’ve asked my wife never put in dishwasher. Many pans say they’re dishwasher safe…I say it’s the worse thing to do to pans. The nonstick is great. Very little butter or oil is needed. We have high grade stainless, expensive non- stick pans and griddles…this is definitely easy to cook with and much easier to clean.Oh…the nontoxic coating is a huge plus!(Blue looks great too!)

Caraway deep frying pan
I like how deep it is, you can put alot of stuff in it and it don’t run over. I like the color. Easy to clean, nothing sticks to the bottom on low heat. It is well made. The cover is a little heavy but not bad. It’s made solid. I hope it lasts for a long time for the price. I do like it.

Beautiful and Functional
Beautiful and functional. Easy to clean and cooks beautifully. Only downside is it’s very heavy so can take both hands when removing food which can be a bit awkward.

Great product! This is my second Caraway pan purchase.
The Caraway Ceramic Sauce Pan cooked my food with favor and natural crispy taste. Especially like the fact that I do not need to add oils as this pan is nonstick. But best of all is pan is non toxic, PTEF & PFOA free.

Good for less than 4 months
This pan costs WAY too much to only be good for 3.5 months. Scratched despite taking every precaution – not even heavy use! This pan was only used about 3-4x a week!I am very careful with my cookware, and of course I only used wood and silicone utensils. I never left this pan âsoakingâ in the sink so there were no chances for cutlery to be tossed on it. I also donât stack my pans, so the scratches did not develop due to poor storage. Couldnât have been caused by someone else. SOMEHOW this wildly overpriced piece of junk developed scratches. It was nice to have for 3 months because of how ridiculously easy it was to clean – I have a very small, awkward sink and my large cast irons were getting difficult to clean with my growing pregnancy getting in the way. I just needed this pan to get me through this âbumpâ and it didnât last for even half the pregnancy. I havenât even had the baby yet before this piece of trash gave out.Iâve used much cheaper nonstick in the past that didnât even develop superficial scratches after years of daily use! I was a fool to fall for this healthier ceramic marketing hype.Back to cast iron and carbon steel for me, just 2 more weeks of uncomfortable, awkward washing for me.

Love the Caraway pans.
The item was just delivered today. So this review is on the ordering and looks. When I ordered the pan, it had a delivery date of February 19, it showed up 10 days earlier. That was great.Open the box and found the pan to be beautiful and exactly what I wanted. The pan is heavy and can’t wait to use it.By the way, this is my second Caraway pan, I love the first one I bought. The first was the 9.5″ pan. Great for eggs. After 15 months the pan works great.BTW, I use it on induction stove and that works great with the pan.

A Pleasure to Cook With
The saucepan is very attractive. I love the green color. It is amazing to cook with a pan where the food doesn’t stick at all! My only disappointment is that it is so heavy.

This is actually “Non-Stick” cookware!
I have been cooking for 50+ years and have tried just about every type of cookware on the market including all of the non-stick products. None of them were actually non-stick. I first tried the Caraway 6.5 dutch oven for homemade spaghetti sauce and chile. I was absolutely amazed. This is truly non-stick cookware. I have since replaced all of my fry, saut’e and sauce pans with Caraway ceramic. There is a small learning curve cooking with ceramic vs traditional cookware but wasn’t a problem. Clean-up is “amazingly” easy. I highly recommend you try Caraway ceramic cookware.

Bought this pan for my daughters birthday, she received it, opened the box and the handle is loose. No, it was not damaged in shipping (box does not have a dent in it), sounds more like pour quality control. Very disappointed, I will contact Caraway and voice my opinion personally. After Contacting Caraway, it was explained to me that this company is an unapproved re-seller. They are selling this pan at twice the price (Caraway is selling them at $145.My own fault for not being more diligent, lesson learned.

Who doesnât monitor their cooking, e.g eggs, sauces, onions etcâ¦!!?? I have to constantly lift and peek letting out heat and dripping water. Itâs a huge pain. I try to balance a clear lid from my old pan but it doesnât quite fit. Otherwise I like the pan itself.
