The answers from the Amazon AI did not reflect information in the product packaging. You do not want to use metal utensils neither forks nor knives in the pan. Ai says a gentle scrub, but for me that would mean a washcloth not a Brillo pad. It says to use a little bit of oil or butter. So although it is a nonstick surface, it does need a little bit of lubricant. So please read those instructions. It is too bad AI only takes the information from the outside of the box. It would be a great thing if someone sat down and put all this information into AI data banks. I find the pan Easy to clean and grilled us a really nice steak the first night we used it.I have done stirfry veggies as well and Ben very happy with the results.

Love This Pan!
My family makes about 100 pounds of fudge every year. For decades, I’ve been using the same pan, but really wanted to switch to a pan that was free of forever chemicals. I switched to the Caraway Non-Stick Stir Fry pan and absolutely adore it. So far, I’ve made 32 pounds of fudge (4 lbs/batch) and this pan is perfect. It’s a little bigger than my previous pan, so all of the fudge ingredients fit without any problem. And the non-stick surface is fabulous! it’s easy to pour fudge from and then easily cleans up. Best fudge pan ever…and I can only imagine how superb it will be when I actually use it as a stir fry pan.

I would have given it 5 stars except that my new wok/pan is not in mint condition: a bit of blue paint is chipped from the rim area of the pan. I foolishly did not examine the pan after I unboxed it, so I do not know if I actually caused the paint to chip (unlikely), or if I received a defective one. I will not return it, though, as it stir fries food without sticking, cleans up easily, and I can live with itâs imperfection (although next time I will carefully inspect their products immediately upon unboxing them!).
