Very elegant kettle
This kettle is sooooo beautiful, the capacity is great, itâs easy to clean, easy to operate with its auto shut off, it heats up very fast. I am totally in love

Wonderful kettle!
This kettle looks especially nice on the counter, as the glass and white components blend into my kitchen well without calling attention to itself. I like that it is simple to use, as I’ve had another that did too many things making it confusing.

Says “German Schott-Duran glass” but has a rubber/plastic seal between glass and heating dome..
The impression you get from the ads is that water will only touch the glass. But that is not so! This is yet another kettle (albeit a much nicer looking one) with glass exterior *mated* to a stainless heating element by a .. rubber/plastic seal.. Hm! (((I don’t have any faith in kettles made from glass “cylinder” glued to heating bottoms, they always fail. The last kettle we bought was fully stainless. Made in China though, so in a year it started to give off a very unpleasant smell, and after boiling the water was dirty. Our water is not hard, of good quality, and still we only use filtered water for cooking. We cleaned the kettle regularly with vinegar and it always shined after the procedure, but when the issue started to return now in 2-3 boils, it had to be discarded.Enter this “glass” kettle. From the description and pictures it looks like the water will only touch the glass. Promise of a new day, right? Well, sure – if you like boiled rubber/plastic in your tea! And you don’t know how long that “stainless steel” will last, ’cause the kettle is still “made in China”..And the last 2 photos: 3 connector mating (great!) with only 2 prong plug (what?!) – so the kettle is never grounded! You have an appliance that pulls almost 15A current at 110V, boiling water, yet no safety protocols whatsoever!! For some reason it becomes increasingly hard to find grounded electric kettles..

Beautiful Kettle
Bought the white one – works great – love the design – friends and family admire its looks and heating efficiency. Just wish opening for putting water in it a little larger – otherwise perfect.

Boils fast & no plastic touching water
Main reason I got this was to avoid the usual black plastic touching the boiling water like in other brands. I have autoimmune issues and I try to avoid anything that will worsen my condition. It does great. Boils very fast, I can make my pour over coffee in about 5 minutes or even less. Never really timed it, I just remember being SHOCKED at how quick it boiled compared to my stove kettle. There is a decent volume âclickâ when itâs done boiling. I will say the lid is a little difficult/awkward to open. I canât use the handle to open it, so I just stick my finger in the gap at the spout to pop it open. Maybe thatâs just my arthritis. I have also noticed that when I pour my water, the plastic handle creaks as the steam hits it which scares me and makes me think one day itâll pop off of the kettle and itâll break. Otherwise I am enjoying the product & would consider it a good value (although I donât get why most kettles arenât just constructed with a glass spout. It was annoying to try to find one that wasnât made with a plastic spout. That seems more difficult to build but I digress)

Our go to
Great. Our third one (lasts about two years). As avid tea drinkers, this is our go to hot water pot for brewing. Quick heating, aesthetically pleasing, and highly recommended.
