Iâve had this opener for over a year and kept meaning to write a review but something comes up and I forget to do it. This opener is very easy to use and grip. I have arthritis in my hands and this opener has large soft handles and is easy to grip. It opens cans very easily and does not require much pressure to turn the handle. I would buy this again and recommend it

When first purchased (April 22) it felt like a good quality can opener used it as normal, was impressed. Now the last couple months I could tell it’s performance started to degrade slowly making it harder to open a can. As of yesterday it half opened its last can. Was struggling to get it to work and then the teeth quit engaging to rotate the cutter. DEAD Really thought this was gonna last, guess not.

So sturdy and easy to use. Had two cans, one had a pull off lid and the other needed the can opener. I don’t remember even grabbing the opener, just looking down and seeing two open lids. Totally automatic. Then noticed the opening was so much closer to the edge of the can – easier to pour. The handle on the opener is wide meaning very little force needed for opening. Would recommend.

Only great for less than a month
I can basically only repeat what so many others have said; this opener worked great at first, but very quickly it started getting harder & harder to open the cans. After a few uses, the gears slipped somehow and just don’t match up well making it near impossible to turn the knob, and when I can get it to turn the edges are sharp and ragged. It also started to rust after a short time. This item, same as all prior can openers I have owned in 40+ years, was always rinsed and towel dried, then left to air dry before returning it to the drawer. I would not purchase another, nor can I recommend it to anyone else.

I’ve had enough can openers in my lifetime to know none of them lasts forever. These are wear-out items so know that all brands will eventually jam up, stop cutting, or start slipping at some point…ALL of them will. Now that I have arthritis finding a good one was important when my last one started slipping. This one feels quality to hold, turns smoothly, & cuts easily. It doesn’t quite get that last little bit of metal but gets closer than most so a little tug or twist gets it right off. No hand can opener I’ve ever found does better than this one & by doing my research I found it at a good competitive price. My advice is to watch for sales & don’t be picky about the color choice. Gray was dollars cheaper than the ‘in’ colors.

Simple and Works Great!
I bought this for my 85 year mom as she could not find a can opener that was easy for her to work. I liked that it said it was great for seniors. Mom loves it and says itâs her favorite sheâs ever had and is very easy to use. I had bought a âfancyâ battery-operated can opener for myself but ended up returning it. I decided to buy this one for myself as well and am very satisfied. Iâm no senior but itâs great! It is very easy to turn and the grips are great. Make sure you squeeze the grips tight. I also like the magnet that lifts the can lid off. Bottom line is sometimes the simpler products work best!
