I bought this can opener to replace a cheaply made one that only lasted a couple of years with infrequent use. This can opener works great. It is heavy and well made. Finally a very smooth can opener! No need to struggle, the lid removal magnet is a great feature, the can opener makes little to no noise, easy to clean but I did noticed thereâs a small socket area on the can opener which rusted after a use or two. I made sure to open the can opener completely to allow for it to dry but it didnât help, so Iâd suggest that after washing it, dry it immediately and then put it away rather than placing it on a drying rack like I did. The slight rust color can also be removed with extra cleaning products though.
If you have carpal tunnel syndrome or arthritis as I do or others in my household, then this will be worth the cost and overall a great purchase because it functions very well and smoothly.

This was much better than other manual can openers that I’ve had over the years. It worked well and was easy to use. Something happened with the handle and mechanism under normal operation where it lost all power. I ordered a replacement.

Some newer cans have such thin can edges that my old opener would slip off the can making it difficult to open. Not this opener – worked like a charm. Even my wife how wonder why I was buy a new opener when we “already have one” commented: “wow is this new opener ever good”!
