Works as itâs designed to. I love the lid, with itâs vent for steam and ridge on the edge to hole coals if need be. Iâm still deciding if I like the legs on the bottom, but that is a preference. All in All great Dutch Oven. I did purchase a carry bag for this for easy Carrying.

It’s been a joy to use thus far. Curious how long seasoning will last.
We’ve cooked with it over wood fires fours times already, making stew, chilis, and a cake. It’s been great thus far, and cleans up well with a chain mail scrubber and water (no soap!). Starting to see seasoning weaken a bit, but the dutch oven has been worked out well. There’s a slight notch to allow steam to escape between lid and base. The lid holds coals well. I do not regret the purchase.

Ample Dutch Oven!
This is a ample Dutch oven or any outdoor cooking. It is made well with quality steel. The only drawback to this Dutch oven after first receiving it was, whatever they used to season it with smells like some sort of nasty chemical that mimics the smell of stink bugs. However, after scrubbing it with Dawn dish soap and hot water the smell dissipates. Overall, it is a good Dutch oven for the money.

Great camping item that is a must have
I bought this for an upcoming camping trip after I received a different brand that was garbage. This one was outstanding. I wanted to change up our normal food selection for camping and this was a hit. Great new options and this Dutch Oven was the right size for our 5 campers. In fact it was almost too much food. I will not go camping with out one ever again and if I ever need to upgrade to a larger size I will make sure its a Camp Chef brand.
