Nice pan set
My mother has used this brand of pans for years and has always raved about it. I seen it was on sale and was in the market for a new set of pots and pans and thought I would try them. I feel Iâm getting my moneys worth with this set. This is a beautiful set. Itâs very durable. Cooks my food up beautifully. The food does not stick to it but I also seasoned the set when I got it. It does say if food sticks or you have trouble cleaning just use some bar keepers friend on them. Itâs a good weight. Cleans up easily. I donât put them in the dishwasher because it is recommended to hand wash. Very functional. I would recommend.

Perfect purchase
I bought these as a housewarming gift and still receive high praise for how nice they are. Very durable and easy to cook with, I’ve seen personally how easy an egg fries up without sticking. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful starter set of stainless cookware
These are really nice for a starter set. If you are thinking about making the switch from chemical lined non-stick pans, this is a great set to start with. The 3 skillets are perfect sizes for various types of cooking. The saucepans and strainer lids are great. They have small pour spouts on them, which was a surprising addition. I am old and had a set of wonderful Reverware stainless years ago, so not a novice, but haven’t cooked with stainless in a bit of time. If you are making the switch, there are so many helpful tips on YouTube and simply on the Internet in a search (had to figure out cooking bacon). Liked these enough to get a set for one of my adult kids.

Wanted to Like It
PROs:- It’s beautiful stainless steel. Guilt free cooking.- Feels great and evenly heats.- Perfect weight and good balance between pan and handle.- Handles are brushed texture and do not get hot.- Shape of pans allow for easy flips and slides/pours. Pots have easy-pour sides with vented tops.CONs- Would have liked one more frying pan that’s larger and one more handled pot that’s larger as well.- Frying pan cannot handle oil on heat. Every time I cooked with it, it stained black. The first time, boiling baking soda worked to get it “clean.” Was a shade of light tan after with no dark stains. The second time, stains were darker and wouldn’t leave. Tried baking soda; Scrub Daddy Paste; Barkeeper’s Best Friend— end result is the photo.Kind of a disappointment, but it is what it is. I’ll cook on top of the stains and maybe try to find a better pan for frying.

Former Professional Chef Approved
I love these pans and am so glad all the former reviews panned (haha) out to be true. Iâve used these extensively now for over a year and can confirm they are a GREAT set that I expect will last many many years to come! A few pieces of advice to get the most out of this (or any) set of quality stainless steel pans:- They are dishwasher safe but I do not ever put them in the dishwasher. They clean so easily and fast that the potential harm far outweighs cleaning them by hand. If needed, soak for an hour or two with some hot water and soap. Try not to let them soak for extended periods of time. With that in mind I did in fact get lazy once and leave a pan to soak for a week because, depression and all – and they didnât get harmed. So that is a huge deal!- I use a regular sponge to clean them. I do this to avoid scratching them. The soak should be all you need to get stuff stuck off them.- When I finish drying them to avoid water spots I use a towel to dry them off 95% of the way and let them air dry the final bit before putting them into my cabinet.- For spotting over time, barkeepers friend and or the pink stuff will take it right off. You can also make a homemade cleaner with some vinegar, lemon juice, and baking soda – but the first 2 I mentioned are cheap and work so well I donât bother.- if you struggle with these especially if you used non-stick in the past – be patient. Start with less heat than youâd use with a non-stick. Use more oil than youâd use in a non-stick. I personally prefer my nonstick for say, eggs. But a steak or fish or chicken or vegetables where I want some charring and browning? This is the way to go. (Or a cast iron if thatâs more your thing.).- I bought a cheap steaming basket on Amazon that fits into the largest pot and it works great to steam veggies etc. the largest pot is big enough for me to make 20 large servings of cheese for Mac n cheese on Thanksgiving – Itâs quite large.Overall for the price point, the variety of sizes and uses these pans provide and the overall longevity Iâll get from this purchase I fully recommend them. If I had one single thing to critique itâs that the lids do not fit all of the pans. The largest frying pan is larger than any of the lids which, is a shame. Sometimes I have things I need a lid for which is frustrating.. but other than that itâs damn near perfect!

Best Salmon I ever cooked
Iâm tired of being grossed out by non stick skillets as they age. Nothing ever browns , it just doesnât feel like cooking. I also needed inspiration to cook more at home and stop my restaurant delivery orders that I canât afford. I saw this set on sale and I started researching stainless steel cookware. My research kept leading me back to this set and itâs current very fair sale price. So I stopped obsessing and bought the cookware.Gorgeous out of the box. Before I used I watched some iTunes videos in order to learn cooking with Stainless steel. Lots of good videos that inspired me to cook again. Iâm glad I watched because I didnât want to ruin the cookware on my first day. I used my new frying pan to sear Salmon Filets with their skin. Oh, to see food brown again! I forgot what itâs like to cook. The salmon was browned perfectly on outside and as tender as poached salmon on the inside. It was not as easy to clean as non stick but had I not watched the videos it would have been a disaster. I did get my pan back to its shiny new state however. Itâs a learning curve, itâs not intuitive yet but Iâm willing to learn a lot of tips to try while watching more videos about how to cook and clean with stainless steel. (Iâm not one to watch cooking shows, I just google recipes before Iâm about to cook, but i was inspired watching the cooking part of the instructional videos. Most were to the point and short). For me, itâs worth the challenge but I can see how it wouldnât be for others. Iâm just thrilled I made the purchase.

Absolutely love this set of cookware, for both stove and oven use. So easy to clean too!!

Received the package on time, and was at first happy to see everything has arrived safely, but after matching the lids to the pots and pan I discovered that the lids don’t sit tight on the pans, there is a few millimeters gap between them. I have other Calphalone utensils previously purchased from amazon.com a few years ago and there the lids sit tight. For the price we had paid this is nonsense.Update: black stains after first use, very low-quality steel. Disgrace.

This set is sturdy but surprisingly light weight, and absolutely beautiful. Curing the frying pans made cleaning much easier. Initially I found the edges a bit sharp, but I have become accustomed to them. Exquisite looking set that cooks very well.

My mother bought this from my wish list as a house warming gift and it is great! The heat distributes evenly, it is so easy to clean(Bar Keepers Friend for the first wash and anything that does stick)I wouldnât say itâs light weight, more medium weight if that makes sense
