I like this pot so much I’m on my 2nd one. Actually I technically have three because Amazon sent one that was bent out of shape but I digress…. It is literally the perfect pot for cooking pasta. One or two pounds, easy to drain, light enough, not too big, not too fancy. I prefer it to my all clad pots when I just want to get something on the stove. But it is non stick so after a while it will degrade, luckily it’s cheap enough to buy a new one after 5 years if you need to

My pot came wrapped in Saran Wrap, packaged loosely in a plain cardboard box marked fragile. There was no filler to secure pot in the box and the box had a hole in one side.The pot itself appeared to have either been a âdemo/sample,â a âunboxed return,â or a âsecond hand item.âI purchased it as a gift assuming it would come nicely packaged in the box in the image and in ânewâ condition. Now, I am embarrassed to give it as a gift to anyone.

Love my new Calphalon Stock Pot
I love the pot. It’s so easy to clean and store and because its tall there is very little if any splatter. You can’t put it in the dishwasher because the rubber in the lid might be damaged. However, I would wash it by hand anyway because if you were to place it in the dishwasher, although it would fit, it would take up a lot of room. I’ve made bean soup in it and a lot of other things and it is great. Glad I bought it. Will probably add more pieces of the same brand.
