    Perfect Detroit pizza pan
Tried a Lloyd’s pan for Detroit style pizza, and while excellent at cooking a pizza it was an absolute pain to clean, not dishwasher safe, and the pizza would stick to it…so much for ‘non-stick’ coating; the hassle wasn’t worth the pizza. Where the Lloyd’s failed, this Calphalon excels – super easy to clean and the pizza lifts out without sticking. If you cover it with foil for the 1st 10min or so to let the bottom fry up, you get a crust as good as any steel/cast iron pan however you spend more time eating rather than cleaning. Just toss it in the dishwasher and you’re done.

    The best
I have the same at home 2 pans but they are already at least 15 years old still good but one start giving me a problem (sticks at the bottom). That’s why I decided to get a new one. Little pricey but works good for baking my banana bread.

Distributes heat more evenly than most pans
I use this for baking – mostly brownies and cornbread – sometimes a small cake. This pan is a heavier weight than most and it distributes heat well. Thinner pans tend to result in baked items that are overdone on the edges and under-cooked in the middle, so I recommend spending a few dollars more for an item like this one. Cleans up easily in the dishwasher and lasts a long time. I do recommend using a plastic knife if you’re going to cut something while still in the pan. This will prevent scratches in the pan and preserve the finish so things don’t start to stick over time.

    Great for bread!
I love these but. . . . . Washing is a chore as water collects in the seem and rusts!

No idea why some reviews say it is very thin material.
Works great. Cleans easy. First thing made was a fat free brownie recipe and it cooked perfectly. Easy to remove from the pan and the cleaning was no more than a quick wipe. If this thing was to bend in the heat it would have to over 500 Degrees F and too close to the heat source. I actually dropped it and not even a dent. I drop a lot of things. When I was married my ex-wife never let me in anyplace that had glass or ceramics for sale.

Started out well, good size, didn’t warp and washed easily enough. But noticed the coating started to flake heavily in one corner and a little bit in other spots. This is after about 15 simple uses – ie. pancakes, rice in a steam oven, etc.
Now I’m going to have to invest into buying an expensive stainless steel one. I guess you get what you pay for. Quite disappointing.
