This set is excellent. Worth the extra money. Everything cooks evenly. The non stick ceramic is so easy to clean. I love the color of this set. They seem to be durable so looking forward to getting long use out of the set.

Okay, I will admit what drew us to these pans initially was the lovely green color but the ceramic coating and the brand are what made us place an order. Now, after a month of using these every day we are totally delighted with the non-stick coating, the easy cleaning and frankly the robust ceramic coating. We have an electric stove top and the bottom surfaces of all the pans still show no scratches. That canât last forever but so far so good.If I had to complain about something itâs that these seem to be a one-off, we wanted to order a larger chicken-fryer pan to match but they donât appear to make any other green ceramic pans but this set. That was a disappointment but perhaps shows how much we like using it.

Great Cookware
I’ve had our Calphalon® Ceramic Nonstick 12-pc. Cookware Set for about a month and I can truely say this is non-stick cookware. I have dry-fried several differnet foods, including eggs, without them sticking. Any minor carbonization is quickly and easily cleaned. With a minimum amout of bacon grease, about an 1/8 of atps., I can loosen the edges of fried eggs and swirl them in the pan. I could not with my Gothic Steel cook set. The long handles stay cool as do the lid hadles. The slotted lids and pour spouts make drain vegetables and pasta easy and safe. They show no signs of scratching from using metal utensils. Time will tell how dishwasher compatable they are. Definitately worth the money.

Calphalon® Ceramic Nonstick Set
I’ve been using Teflon pans and finally wanted to switch to a healthier option. After a lot of online research, I chose the highly-rated and reasonably priced Calphalon® Ceramic Nonstick Set. When I received them, I was impressed by the quality and color; they have a good weight without being too heavy. The nonstick performance is excellent, and there’s no weird smell like with Teflon pans, making them great for quickly frying eggs in the morning.However, I was disappointed to find that although I chose Calphalon because itâs made in the USA, this set was packaged as made in China. Additionally, the edges of the pans are quite shallow, which makes it easy for food to spill over while cooking, and they don’t come with lids. Overall, I hope the nonstick performance lasts.

Beautiful set!
I bought this because I wanted to convert to ceramic and move away from PFAS with a young daughter in the house. I have always tried to buy Calphalon, but tried to find the cheaper versions at TJ Maxx, etc. I was blown away with the quality of this set and how quickly it boiled water compared to my old pan, which was not Calphalon. The handles do not get hot and clean up is a breeze. Love the beautiful gray-green color. I love the fact that they come with 2 potholders that you can also use to put in between the frying pans to keep them from scratching each other. I turned one of the pots on its side in the picture so you could see how beautiful the color is. Will update the post if they do not hold up with use over time but so far Iâm extremely pleased with my purchase and feel it is a very good value for the money.

12/6/2024 review. 1st 3 weeks with this set. So far, I love it. I don’t leave a lot of reviews on Amazon, so appreciate the fact that I’m planning to do a long term review of this product. Nice looking set. Really inexpensive for the quality you’re getting. I’m not going to spend a lot of time on general characteristics as the other reviews cover those extensively. (Pans are more shallow. Lids are heavier. Heats up quick. Handles get hot…..) I’m going to cover just one aspect in my review, and I’m going to set reminders to update this review every 6 months for everyone.MAIN QUESTION: Is the ceramic actually nonstick versus all the other “nonstick” pans like Teflon, copper, etc.?ANSWER: Short answer after 3 weeks is, YES, the ceramic is actually nonstick. This ceramic coating (versus other Teflon like non-stick coating) so far seems to be a game changer. I’ve tried lots of different nonstick pans over the years (even tried that TV Gotham steel one), and they have ALWAYS DISAPPOINTED. Maybe they might have had one initial time where they were actually nonstick but after that, we’re talking the usual heavy oil cooking if you don’t want it sticking to the pan. They all sucked on “nonstick” bc everything would stick to them. I made egg fried rice in this pan this morning and realized after I got done that I NEVER PUT ANY OIL INTO THE PAN. Neither the rice nor the eggs stuck to the pan!!! Everything slid out of the pan when I got done and NOTHING stuck to the surface at all. The only spot where there was any sticking was the round metal screw tops where the handle screws into the pan. I wiped the pan clean with a paper towel after I was done. Truly remarkable. I’ll see how it holds up with daily/weekly use and update everyone, but so far, it’s outperformed every other nonstick pan I’ve ever tried in actually being nonstick!!! So yes, this might be the long term healthy solution to those nonstick pans that start losing their coating into your food and you end up feeding your family who knows what chemicals….

This is not nonstick
I am a longtime fan of this brand and replace my 8″ and 10″ pans every few years as they are the ones we use daily for breakfast. I decided to try the ceramic nonstick and the pan is less than stellar. The first time I used it the sausage stuck to it and all of the oil from the sausage left a mess on the pan. Scrubbing the pan I was able to get most of it off. The second time I used it the buildup just continued to get worse. I’m not a fan, tried to contact Calphalon directly and received no reply. So I ended up ordering the Teflon coated pans and have been using them happily each morning.
