A little thin and floppy, but so adorable
These are a little bit on the thin side, the mold wanted to flop on me, which thankfully wasn’t an issue with bread dough but would have been a mess with cake batter. You definitely do need to use a baking sheet pan and make sure that it’s large enough to lay flat (I was pushing it turning the pans sideways and they didn’t like it). They came out so nice, though! The pattern is beautiful, and the pans are so versatile. We used them to make pretty bread rolls, but they would work nicely for cakelets, brownies, or even cookies. The size is excellent, and you should be able to make an entire box of cake mix with just the two included trays, so the value is there as well. I’m thrilled to finally have found a good party-shape option silicone pan to replace our old nonstick ones and escape from the PFAS at last.
