Sharper blades steadier straight handle

This vegetable peeler is one of those what you see is what you get lol Nothing fancy here and no bells or whistles. Itâs your basic peeler that does have a nice wide blade on it. I also like the bright green color so itâs easy to spot in a crowded drawer.

Doesnât quite get the job done!
This cabbage shredder is a nice idea, but this one is just a bit lacking in the execution. The long blade is just not strong enough to shred the outer edges of the cabbage nor anything even close to the core. It just gets stuck in the cabbage and you can actually see the blade bend. So I donât think this will last very long, and I ended up just using my chef knife to finish shredding my cabbage. I would estimate this thing only shredded probably 1/3 of my head of cabbage and the rest had to be cut by hand. It requires a lot of force also, so itâs just easier with a knife. Nice idea but need stronger blade! Handle is pretty cheap plastic too!
