Get it!!! Itâs so handy to have. I hate touching butter with my bare hands so this fixes that problem. Only thing, leave the butter out for a little bit. It makes it easier to cut.

Updated 1/31/24 Lid doesn’t snap on
Update 1/31/24: Seller saw my review and offered me a refund. I told them I wasn’t asking for a refund, I just hoped they would improve the product. They sent me a new model that the lid does snap on. I’m very pleased with it and impressed with their response! I give it 5 stars now because that was my only complaint!The idea of this could be a great product. Unfortunately making a lid that snaps on did not seem to occur to them. I love the rest of this product, but the lid has fallen off twice while taking it out of the fridge and spilled butter all over the floor. Then I have a greasy mess to clean up. Wouldn’t buy this again.

Does not work as described
This item will not cut the butter cold due to the way the lid is designed to push with. I had to let the butter get almost to room temp and still had to use my hands to push thru. Since butter wasn’t cold the pats are sticking together.

It works great if you let the butter come to room temperature before using it. Also, it does seal but you have to flip the lid over.

I got this thinking it would be convenient to have pre-sliced butter and I thought it would make it easier but it wasn’t. the wires did not slice through the butter even when the butter was soft, one or 2 of the wires snapped so I just threw it away. I would not suggest purchasing this product
