I Got This the Other Day, and Was Dying to Use it!
Ordering the skillet was quite easy, and the delivery fast. The quality of this skillet is amazing! This thing weighs 15lbs, if it weighs an ounce, and is quite beautiful. I can’t comment on performance or durability yet, but I will once I put the skillet through its paces. I love cast iron cookware, but it always seems to rust, no matter what I do! With ENAMELED cast iron, I should NOT have this issue! I have an enameled cast iron pot, and it’s held up wonderfully over the years – I figure this should be the same! The pot is too deep to be doing egg sandwiches, bacon, sausage, chicken breasts, etc., so I purchased this skillet. It’s has good reviews, so I figured this will be a good product. I was wrong… IT’S A GREAT PRODUCT! So far I’ve done eggs (in egg rings, to make egg McMuffins), a pan pizza (in the oven at 500 degrees), and a steak (started at high heat on the stove and finished in the oven). This thing is literally a tank – heaviest pan I have ever owned. Be careful if you have a glass stove top – you drop this baby on there, and the stove top is done for! The skillet heats well, and evenly. The surface is about as non-stick as you can get, without being Teflon, and cleans easily. I soak the skillet some, and then wash with a soft sponge. And though I don’t have to season it, I do put some oil on it while it is clean, AND hot (old habit from using cast iron with no coating)! I would buy this again!

Super heavy & well built
This skillet is super heavy and well built. I was disappointed that it had some chips on the edge when it arrived but we didn’t want to bother sending it back and my husband read that it was likely to get chips in normal use anyway, so we just kept it. It cooks great. Uniform heat, large area. Cleans up well. Very pleased. (but it’s SO heavy to get out of the cupboard and take to the stove! I wish I knew where to keep it for better access). Being so heavy, that second handle is essential; I don’t know how you could lift it off the hot stove without that.

super heavy, but worth it
Awesome pan! It’s VERY heavy, so be ready to work those arm muscles, but its totally worth it. It fits large meals in the one pan, which is great. It washes well (sometimes with a little extra scrubbing if cheese or sauces burned at all). And if i want to leave it out on the stovetop rather than putting away and taking out a heavy pan each night, it’s beautiful to leave out. big thumbs up

Impressed is an understatement
I am a raving Bruntmor fan. I purchased the 2 in 1 Dutch oven first. I was impressed with it, I purchased a 2 in 1 casserole dish, and again, I was struck by the utility, quality, and the value of the product. So my old trust cast iron skillet start bubbling and flaking and I needed a new one. Bruntmor immediately came to mind. I purchase beauty and eagerly awaited its arrival. When it came, I’ll pick it up out of the box and immediately felt something strange. The interior was so smooth I thought that perhaps it wasn’t cast iron but maybe it was Teflon. So, I started the pre seasoning ritual, even though the Box said that it was preseason and there was no need for it. I’ve owned cast iron for years and they all say their preseason but it doesn’t hurt to put a coat of pre seasoning before first use. How to record off I got my first cooking and I could not be more impressed. As a matter of fact the word impressed is an understatement. Mayday Cajun shrimp and scallop pasta dish in this pan. After I put up the food, I went over to the sink with a little bit of soap and water and it cleaned out beautifully through a coat of oil on it put on the stove heating it up made sure it was dry and again, it feels like Teflon not cast iron. I don’t mean to be so effusive but this is the best cast iron object I’ve ever used.

Great Size Pan
I’ve had this pan since Aug 2018 and it is one of my favorites. It is a nice deep pan that can take a whole cut-up chicken or braise a good size roast. However my disappointment comes from the cooking surface, Straight out of the box it was matte black. I expected it to be somewhat shiny and smooth like enamel should be. Everything sticks to it. I do not use high heat because this pan gets real hot around medium. That’s my only complaint. So now the bottom has scars. I have tried oil but the scars remain. So although this is a good pan, I will be looking for a similar size in LeCreuset. This was a fairly new product when I bought it and had no comments to go by. Maybe I and the other few with this problem got ones with defective interiors. Anyway I’ll continue to use it and face the soak-and-scrub.

I love the size and quality of the pan. I’ve used it quite a few times since I’ve got it, especially for stir fry. Photos included, which was enough for two people for two meals along with Rice and a couple of other side dishes. This pan is excellent. It’s heavy though, if anyone has issues such as dealing with lifting/storing etc heavy items. It has fairly high edges too, which is great.I love this pan.

Update to my previous review⦠sadly the pan has warped. Not sure how to reach out to the seller 7 months after purchasing. The pan still works but cooking is uneven due to this. Previously I said⦠I would absolutely recommend this frying pan. The clean up is so easy it surprises me every time. We do wait until the pan cools before cleaning. The size is perfect for larger meal prep. Itâs great for caramelizing onions. Havenât had any issues with burning foods when following the recommended cold start. The coating is slighty textured which I thought would be an issue but like mentioned, it cleans up beautifully with just a foam or textured nylon scrubby.
