Very sharp
It is easy to clean and even easier to use. The handle is solid and comfortable to use and they look fantastic. I accidentally cut through a unrip avocado so it being sharp is an understatement. However if you can find better quality I would go for that because my chef knife is slightly bowed and Ive read that they can come chipped. So if you can catch this on sale (i bought mine for $60) its a great value for the money.

High quality, very, very sharp and the handle shapes are great for multiple people. These are the nicest knives we’ve ever owned. Not only are the knives of high quality, just the box itself screams quality ( a family member won’t let me throw it away ). They are sharp! If you’ve ever cut yourself with at razor blade and not realized it until you’ve seen a blood trail, that actually happened to me with these knives. I have a bad habit of running my finger down the side of the blade to remove stuck onion pieces and such. I should say I HAD a bad habit, but no more! Not with these knives, I’ve changed my ways. Now I’m starting to understand why tv chefs use the techniques that they do. While for myself, I might choose a knife set with a different handle, these handles are actually great for a family. With the curved shape of the handle, this set allows many different sized hands to get a good grip and angle regardless of the height of the person or the counter. I got a great deal on these knives but I won’t tell you what I paid because it might make some of you cry. Right now they are selling for $90 (not even $20 per knife) and even at that price they are still a bargain. Amazon says that price is 25% off, so the full retail price is $120 ( $24 per knife ). Honestly, after using these knives, even at full price they are worth it (at least to me). I bought a serrated knife along with this set that cost $20. It is really light and has a plastic handle and just doesn’t feel anything like these knives. I’ll consider myself lucky to get 10 years use from it. Most $20 knives I’ve bought needed to be replaced after 5 years. This is a set that should last a lifetime. The only real downside with this set is that this it doesn’t include a serrated knife. I’d like to buy this in a 7 piece with a serrated bread knife & serrated utility knife.

For the price you receive a very solid set of useful cutlery. The knives are very well honed and balanced. Meat Fruits Veggies- slice and dice with ease. I have a set of Kyocera Ceramics after 5 years the cost to keep them sharp led me to this purchase. I will add this set to my rotation.
