Great, sharp, bread knife. Easy to use handle makes for easy cutting. Great value!! After it fell off the counter and I stepped on it, my foot warns you to always put the blade cover on.. or have peroxide and bandaids near by in case you step on it.

Great to make slices
I love super crusty sourdough. Hard on the outside and perfectly squishy on the inside. My friend makes the best! Itâs not hard to cut with one of my big serrated knives but I seem to be challenged when it comes to making nice straight and even slices that I could use to make a sandwich. This knife is great to use making it very easy to make a nice slice suitable for a grilled cheese sandwich! The only thing it doesnât do well is slice the boule down the middle. I use my regular serrated knife for that, then use this bow knife to cut the half into half oval slices. Perfect! I wouldnât want this knife to be big enough to slice the whole boule in half because it would just be too big to store. So Iâm happy with this purchase. It slices through the tough crust with ease and without smashing the squishy center. Itâs very light weight, the handle seems solid and comes with a tiny screwdriver to adjust it for opposite hand use, and a blade cover for storage. Very happy with this purchase.

Meh…not impressed.
I don’t like writing negative reviews, but this product leaves a lot to be desired. First off, the bade twists on a hard loaf of bread, and there’s not really any way to tighten the blade. Second, the blade isn’t really that sharp, so it can’t really get started on a crusty loaf. We do a lot of artisan sourdough bread and I bought this knife specifically for these breads. The concept looked good and a lot of people recommended this type of knife, but it doesn’t work well at all in my opinion. I had hoped the offset handle would help with another issue which is cutting all the way through a crusty loaf, but it didn’t really work well at that either. Sadly, after only a couple uses, this knife is getting the boot. Can’t really return it now because we’ve used it, so probably just wind up discarding it which is a shame.
