Makes good coffee!
I wanted to upgrade my basic little Mr coffee maker and found this model recommended on a couple sites.. have been using it almost daily since I got it.Pros: Takes up minimal space and looks nice on countertopThe 1-4 cup setting is good for when you don’t want to make a big potHas 3 temperature settings – I prefer HOT coffee so I always pick the highest optionUses a replaceable water filter. I always use filtered water anyway when making coffee but figure it can’t hurt!Has a descaling cleaning option that I haven’t used yet but definitely plan to.Cons: Not a big deal but all the parts are plastic. Which I guess is pretty much all home coffee makers, this was just my first “upgraded” coffee machine and I was hoping with the stainless metal outside look it would have some stainless parts inside.Hard to see when you look down into the reservoir where you pour the water, because it’s all black inside. My old coffee maker was white so you could see if there were hard water stains or god forbid a bug had crawled inside!

Love this coffee maker.
Plug it in and use it! Very nice looking on my counter. I use a paper filter as it is easier to clean, getting the grounds out. Amazon has them maybe even local grocery stores. I love everything about this coffee maker. Iâve had good luck with my Kurig maker but the pods are very expensive compared to a 12 cup maker using grounds.A+ for quality, A+ water flow, A+ capacity, A+auto shut off feature, A+ compact sizeand best of all A+ for the taste!!!Now letâs see if it lasts. If a problem creeps up, Iâll update my review.

Mostly positive
It is a big deal for us to purchase a coffee maker, as it is used every day faithfully. We also rely on the timer because we get up early & want to be able to grind/prep the machine the night before.Functionality: exceptional. Hands down one of the best we have owned. Every feature is simple. We could have done all of it without ever glancing at the instruction manual. We like the option to make a stronger brew & to adjust the temp of the hot plate. The timer has worked well, the display is easy to read. THE BEST thing which to be honest was the top reason I bought this coffee maker is it DOES NOT BEEP or make a sound when the pot is done brewing. When our kids are still asleep at 5am, we really don’t need any noises echoing through the house. We just know that it will be waiting for us when we get up at our regular time.Quality: iffy. The jury is still out. The lid seems flimsy & makes a popping sound every time we raise it which sounds like it is breaking, but definitely “normal.” The glass carafe also seems flimsy. The lid already has scrape marks from pulling it out to pour. The glass is already stained. It makes little sounds when you pour the water in that worry me it won’t be long for this world. Feels lighter than average. That said, everything is intact so far.Overall I would recommend this coffee maker. My husband absolutely loves it. Coffee tastes excellent, which is the most important thing. We had a Cuisinart for about 10 years but took a chance on this despite inconsistent reviews. We do not have trouble pouring the coffee. It is also a very attractive machine on our countertop & looks amazing with our stainless/black appliances.

Great Coffee Maker at a Wonderful Price
We needed to replace a 14 year old 5 cup coffee maker and also needed to upgrade to a larger one since our college-aged daughter is now drinking coffee too. We looked at several articles rating the best coffee makers on the market and this one consistently won the best value award. We got it on sale so the value is even better. I definitely wanted a cone filter coffee maker and this one has that. It is very easy and intuitive to use. I like the reusable metal filter. So far, no problems. The carafe doesn’t drip when we pour it like our old one did. I really like the feature where you can adjust the warming plate. I prefer it on low so that it’s drinkable right away.

Should be up to daily use for the long term
I previously had a Bonavita. I’ve had this about two weeks and like it. Simple. Seems to work. Materials are good. It is a little noisier. I decided to try the gold cone instead of paper. It lets a little fine silt through. That may have to do with the grind. Someone mentions stirring the coffee if you use the cone. The power cord is 30″ which lets me pull it out clear of the cabinets instead of steaming them. I wish the clock had a battery. I don’t use the timer. I like to unplug my brewer when not in use like the directions say. Set the clock daily? Seriously, with a brewer with a timer? Maybe they’re all like that with the legalese.

Of all the coffee pots I’ve gone through looking for one that is not to big, nice ss finish, simple to set up and operate…this is it. Very impressed so far. Been used each morning since I received it…flawless…its really worth the sticker price…buttons are clear to function…and have a good quality feel…buy it…

This is without doubt the very best drip style coffee maker I have ever owned. After a number of relatively inexpensive big box store coffee makers over the years, notably models from Mr. Coffee and Black and Decker, functional but not exceptional, I decided to “splurge” on this higher priced Braun unit. The first one arrived with a loose, wobbly, ill fitting lid which Amazon very kindly replaced for me despite it being slightly beyond the return period. The second machine is perfect. It looks elegant and very upscale on my kitchen counter. Almost Barrista!!The materials and the design simply exude quality. It is a breeze to operate once it has been set up which only takes a few moments. I think, but I’m not sure, that my morning coffee actually tasted better once I began to use this machine.I know it has more features than I will likely ever use to allow me to adjust the brew strength. However, as of yet, I have not experimented with any of these. I can tell you that the brew cycle takes less time than any of my other coffee makers. It is also far quieter during the brewing stage and the first of my three mugs of morning coffee is as hot as I would wish it to be with no need to revert to the microwave to add a bit of additional heat as was the case with my last Mr. Coffee coffee maker. While a bit pricey to be sure, it is without doubt, worth every penny. This machine strikes me as incorporating the very best of European design and manufacture. It should last for years to come!

Ok I love 97% of everything about this coffee machine. It makes HOT coffee, looks sharp, easy to use, probably the best tasting coffee so far too. What I DON’T like is the sight glass/water level check. You have to open the lid and carefully pour the water in (what I learned is its best to pour it from the FRONT) and check the level with the green “steps” in the water basin by (depending on counter height) looking into the basin. Might be an issue if you or your partner or short.Yes, I know you pre-measure the amount of water before you pour it in, but it’s a habit to check the water level and with all the rest of my machines, you can see the water level on the outside of the coffee maker.
