Reliable, quality kettle
I’ve used it daily for pourover coffee for several months. It’s quality, well made and reliable. Still a good enough flow rate for tea, etc. but has great control for pourover with some practice. I chose this over other kettles, Fellow, Oxo, and Timemore because of the reported long life of this kettle. Very happy with the stainless steel base upgrade, it’s well worth it and looks really clean on my counter.

Leaks and potential fire hazard
I bought this kettle because of the great reviews, but it turned out to be disappointing. My kettle started leaking water after a few months of use. I haven’t been able to locate the leak, but it always leaves a small puddle on the base after each use. The electrical display panel started behaving erratically several weeks ago. Sometime it would refuse to be turned off and just keep on boiling. Pressing the power button didn’t work and I had to pull the cord, making this kettle a fire hazard.

I got this kettle at 50% off and it was a great buy at that price. I did pay a few dollars more for the steel base.It heats up fast. Itâs small and looks nice. It pours really well.It doesnât beep when itâs done, but I like that because I am occasionally the only one awake making coffee.I do wish the buttons lit up a little better. Itâs hard to see which one is which.Overall I highly recommend it when itâs 50% off.

We use this kettle several times per day for our pour over and French press coffees, and to quickly heat water for other uses. Pretty on the counter, easy to clean. Love the preset temperature setting option. Would buy again

Stopped keeping temp
I bought this kettle 9 months ago and it was Not Inexpensive so I had high hopes. In the last few weeks, once I take out some of the 190 deg water, the temperature goes down. It used to hold the temperature steady at 190. It’s a little thing BUT it’s not when you spend a lot of money. It is of course still usable. I sometimes just turn if off and on again to get the temperature back up.
