Worth every penny
I use it every day, heats the water very fast which is convenient for those hectic mornings. A very practical and yet elegant design that does its job perfectly. It pays for itself because I am more willing to make my own coffee even in a hurry in which before, boiling the water with a conventional teapot was the most time consuming part of the process. With this kettle I can have my coffee ready in 5 minutes, and if I decide to make tea, probably takes me half that time.

My first Electric Kettle… Expectations exceeded!
I am new to the world of kettles in general, but I wanted something that would heat up fast for convenience. But I feel like I got so much more from this purchase. First, the look of it is just perfect for any kitchen theme. Second, it is quality… From the color to the overall build… it is very well made. And boy does it heat up fast. I thought for sure that I would have to wait several minutes, but no. No. No. No. I add a bottle of water and literally within less than a minute, I have piping hot water. This is easy to clean, easy to store, and sits perfectly on it’s base. The only thing I would change (or not change) is the cord. It’s rather hefty/sturdy, so tucking it away is a bit of a challenge. But thick cord or not, this was a very good use of my money.

I donât usually leave reviews, but I just had to let those wondering if this kettle is right for them!!First, itâs beautiful! I bought the stainless steel one and itâs very sleek!! Looks great on the counter! Second, itâs a good size if you donât want a huge one! Iâd say you could get 4 to 5 cups of tea from it! Third, it boils pretty fast! Took a little over 5 minutes to boil a full kettle of cold filtered water from the fridge! Cut that in almost half for half the kettle ( if you only need 2 to 3 cups! )But hereâs the best part, it fits beautifully on the docking station! No rocking!! Very solid and secure and the best of the best partâ¦. It has the most satisfying grip! Thereâs a small indent area for your thumb to go when you pick up the kettle to pour!! It feels like it was made to fit my hand!! I would also think itâs good for Seniors or anyone with limited hand mobility!This is a great kettle and youâll be very happy with it!!

Beautiful and functional
This hot water pot is a must if you do pour over coffees! It heats up super fast and the gooseneck is perfect for pouring the slow stream necessary. Plus the stainless steel 34 oz one I bought is beautiful and in my kitchen it is out on display all the time. Very good quality. The lid fits tightly and you donât worry about it slipping off when you are pouring. Lastly, the auto off feature is the BEST because it clicks off when the water is ready to be poured. Just listen for the click if you are off doing something else in the kitchen. Of course the blue âonâ light also notifies you by turning off.

Have it in the office for making tea/coffee. Here is the summary:Likes:1. The all matt black finish. (Long term review pending for longevity of the the finish). It’s very subtle and blends into pretty much any type of aesthetic.Year 1 edit: The matt black finish is still good.2. Boils pretty fast. Without a couple of minutes you’ll have water that melts the flesh of your enemies. Although I do not recommend melting flesh of your enemies, I think it’s against the Geneva convention.3. The branding is subtle so it’s not screaming for attention like your least favorite child.4. The switch is transparent and the blue led indicates operation. Don’t touch the body of the kettle when its lit.5. It holds enough water to caffeinate 4 people.Dislikes:1. It doesn’t have any variables temp settings. (But you get what you pay for, it’s cheaper than those models).2. The matt finish does attract a bit of prints and dust.3. The base feels a bit cheap and plasticy unlike the the ones with a more premium finish (not a deal breaker for me personally).4. Just like the variable temp settings, it does not have any temperature indicator. When the blue led light by the switch goes out you know the water is ready.Summary:Looks good makes hot water good for regular people. Not for caffine extremists or coffee Karens that demand the perfect temperature for every drop.

I love a gooseneck kettle and I needed a replacement, but I didnât want to pay over $100. I didnât have to! What an awesome surprise! Bodum is such a legendary brand, so I figured I would give this kettle a shot. The chrome is beautiful, so is the minimal design. No clunky base to deal with. Itâs simple and well make and beautiful on the counter. The taste and size are both perfect. Itâs not loud and the water boils quickly and my coffee is piping hot after brewing in my pour over. So happy that I bought this kettle. Thank you Bodum!!

Wonderful product
I have this as well as the coffee pour over, which I like as well. I use it daily, usually to make tea, but we also enjoy using it for hot cocoa and the like. Even though it is made of metal, it doesnât feel scalding on the exterior although it definitely is significantly warmer to touch. I donât make it a habit of grabbing the exterior, of course, but sometimes check to see if the water I made is still warm or needs to be reheated if I let it sit too long. The build quality is quite durable as it has taken a few tumbles since it sits on the edge of a shelf and the plug is in a rather inconvenient location. Now as a tip, I used to experience leakage out the lid in the beginning whenever I poured it. After a while I realized I was the problem. Once it starts pouring, do not tip the kettle more. If needed, do it slowly. The spout is on the bottom of the kettle. Once you allow the water to reach enough momentum, it will pour out steadily. My problem was I kept tipping it more than necessary the more water it poured out, which caused leakage. Trust the process, as they say!

Update – Jan 2025:Came here to say this kettle still looks and works great! Going on 3 years of daily use.A month in and we are loving this kettle! It’s quiet, heats up quickly and looks great on the counter!There were no weird smells as mentioned in other reviews. I descale it once a week by boiling a little vinegar water in it and then use the water to shine the outside once it cools down. No issues with build up so far.

Siendo una jarra “cuello de ganso” ya tiene una apariencia particular, pero me encanto el diseño minimalista y la pintura negro mate. Lo unico que rompe con el diseño es el led azul super-brillante del interruptor. Ademas de ese detalle, la base es muy ligera y hecha completamente de plástico, asi que cuando se retira la jarra de la base, esta puede moverse por el peso o tensión del cable. La jarra es de acero inoxidable, asi que cuidandola deberÃa muchos años.
