I finally got it put together and working.
If I can ever get the thing assembled I can review it. HOW DO I ATTACH THE TWO PARTS TOGETHER??? I cannot find anything on line or youtube to show me how.I’M NOT SURE HOW I DID IT, but I did get the two pieces together. And it works well. The big test was opening those pesky tab pull cans, and it did. :-)But B&D needs to post a clear video of how to put it together.

So Much Easier!
I bought this can opener as a gift for my mom. She had been using a hand can opener for years. She is getting older so I thought it would be a good idea to get her an electric can opener. At first, it took us both a while to learn how to use it. It was rather unclear as to using it. Once we figured it out, it is not that difficult to use. Ever since, it has been a blessing to our household. My only complaint is that you have to hold the can to the can opener. You cannot just set the can down and let it open. So be prepared to have a hand free to open the can. Overall, great can opener!

Awesome can opener!
Opens cans very easily. You have to assemble the cutting portion onto the machine, but it’s easy. Comes with a can opener that sits on the back and a knife sharpener on the back.

Not easy to use
I am disappointed in this case opener. You have to place the can exactly a certain way or it doesn’t work The knife sharpener is not any good either. I still use my hand held; works much better. Disappointed in Black and Decker this time around. Should have gotten another Cuisinart.

Don’t understand why you are selling Electrical goods made for a North American market into Europe.If you could put the plug into the socket then:A completely different power system. 120V instead of 230v, Current 2:1, Frequency 60Hz instead of 50Hz.Don’t know what the effect would be of plugging it in. Needless to say I didn’t try it.
