I had 4 of these Stockholm Ramekins and I wanted 4 more. These were the best price so I ordered them. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize that they came in more than one size. The ones I had are 2″ x 3 3/4″ The ones I just purchased here are the 3 oz size which are only 1.5″ x 2 3/4″. This is not a criticism of the product – just information for those looking to purchase. These are the tiny ones that would be used for a dipping sauce, not the larger ones that hold a 1/2 cup +.

Beware of rough bottoms that scratch wood tables
I bought these to match a set I have in 6 oz size and love them, except that the bottoms were rough and I had to use a whetstone to smooth them down so they would not scar my wood tables. For the price, I would have expected they would be smooth on arrival.

Perfect size for dipping!
I use my ramekins for condiments or side gravy/sauces and these are the perfect size and exactly what I expected. Very well made and were delivered without breakage. They remind me of bamboo which I love. These look better in person and at this price, I will be ordering more!

Just what I wanted
These lovely, modern ramekins work great for brulee and other water-bath baked treats. They are the perfect size – small and not too tall – for a realistic portion of rich sweets.

The perfect dipping bowl
Saw these here on Amazon, which also had them listed on another site for only $8.00. I love these. They have thinner, higher walls and a sleek, much more modern look than most ramekins. They look more like beautiful small bowls than ramekins. They are the perfect size for a dipping bowl: 2 3/4 inches across the top and 1 1/2 high. They will hold 3 ounces only if you fill them to the top rim, realistically they hold 2 ounces of gravy or a dipping sauce. I use them as dipping bowls for Chinese dumplings – they are the perfect size, exactly what I was looking for.
