Loving my Berglander Flatlander Gold Plated Flatware Set.
I like the simplicity of the flatware, the warm color, it can be used for a very formal setting although one wouldnât consider this for a formal setting, but I would use it because of its color. I did not wash it because I did not use it as yet . My tablescape for a You Tube Collab is the purpose I bought it for, perhaps I will one day actually use it for a dinner party. I think for the price I got a bargain, however, I would have loved a better packing something I could keep the set in forever, then again for the price that may be asking for too much.ðð¤ However, I am very satisfied. I can see one using this for a afternoon garden tea party or afternoon luncheon..

Made a Long-Standing Desire Come True – Affordably!
When I was a kid, we had a set of “goldware,” but it eventually wore out. At the time, I could only find highly expensive sets, so had put the idea of getting more on the back burner for many years. Imagine my pleasant surprise when I found this low-cost set! I ordered almost immediately. I haven’t had it very long, but so far, it’s holding up and shines great after a hand-wash. I don’t know if it’d hold up to a dishwasher, but until I get one of those, I don’t have to worry about it.

I bought this set for my office. I was tired of buying plasticware. As an office set it is fine. I will tell you that some of the fork tongs are sharp. It’s a blunt kind of sharp – I don’t think you are going to cut yourself on this, but I think that you will notice this characteristic. This is not a standard set of silverware that one would want to use at one’s home if you are an adult over the age of say… 27 or 28. It is a couple of steps above ( ok maybe 1.5 steps above) the cafeteria silverware in college – or at maybe Denny’s. It does look a lot better than the cafeteria silverware from college because it is a cool gold color. It is cut in a manner that shows that it is – well – cheap. And hey – it is what it is. But it is a lot better than plasticware. And using this set saves money on plasticware, and prevents you from adding to the landfills. The gold tone is attractive, and it looks good. All in all I would definitely buy the set again for the purpose for which I use the silverware.

After almost 1 year of use the cutlery still looks good. They are thick and heavy and feel quality. I only hand wash them and after 10 months they are holding up very well. Feel good in the hand. Zero complaints.
