Years ago I had a electric can open that did last for years , hope this does also.About a year ago From Amazon I bought two of the small battery can openers , those only lasted maybe 6 mos., and more batteries! Plus I also have about 3 different types of hand can openers that get stuck in the drawers!!Iâm older now and wanted a can opener I can depend on, and that is easy toUse.I Think this Bella is pretty good.This is lite very weight, not heavy like myOld one.Easy to clean . I ordered black it goes with my stainless , so far this is opening cans easy. Although if you have a tall can toOpen, this opener is not tall enough, or you can stand it on a tall box, book!!!Sometimes the magnet doesnât catch the lid !! But if I hold the opener higher it will after opening.I paid $17.99 a couple of weeks ago, now this is $13.99,, Iâm not happy about that!

Works for a while before itâs design kills it
The blade constantly gets stuck on the mechanism that turns the can, causing the motor to get damaged every time that happens. I had mine for about three months and itâs already dead. Thereâs no access either so even if youâre handy, you canât fix it on your own. The knife sharpener on the back is practically useless unless you have a way to stablize the stupid thing, which is not built into the design. The little rubber legs that keep the whole thing upright come out just when you pick it up, and the cord storage is the entire base of the design, which is a waste. No stablility, breaks easily, and just poor design overall. Wish I could get my money back.

Itâs works so so for days my hands hesitate to work, it wonât work for days my hands absolutely wonât work which was why I ordered it. You have to hold the can up to the blade and push down on the blade arm at the same time and set the magnet in place to use it, which defeates the purpose of days my hands donât work at all. Honestly, not really what I needed and should most likely return it minus the hassle of doing so.
