I needed a thinner tool for flipping fish, pancakes, eggs etc in my non stick pans. These are the perfect item. The other “non stick appropriate” tools would break the egg yolks or tear delicate fish filets. They are holding up well in the utensil rack of my dishwasher (farthest away from heat). If you want themmtoast a very long time handwashing might be best. The rubber tips are thin (but that’s why they work so well).

Iâve been looking for years for this type of flexible thin spatula but required that it have the silicone edge so as to not scratch my non stick pans. Every name brand one I found was soooo big! These two are ideal. They can flip an egg perfectly! They fit in a normal utensil drawer with no problem. I tend to hand wash but thatâs a personal preference. Only complaint is they are âright handedâ but as a left handed person Iâve dealt with this my entire life. You learn to adapt to it.

We were getting rid of our black plastic flippers and I came across an Epicurious ad about the âfish flippersâ. Although there is some black plastic, itâs only on the handle and is not in contact with food. The metal is flexible and is ideal for flipping or serving fish, lasagne and other foods. I like the silicon lip as it helps protect the pan against scrapes.
