This is the best cutting board I’ve ever owned! It’s massive! I need more space for prep work, during cooking. The wood is not overly hard (like bamboo), so it doesn’t lessen the edge on my Shun knives. My sharp knives haven’t made excessive marks in the wood. The wood grain is stunning. It will last forever with occasional oiling. It’s a beast! Very heavy. Exceptional quality. I highly recommend this quality product.

Split in 2 places after 3 weeks
I was really disappointed in getting ready to use the board and I noticed it was splitting in 2 different places. The splits were about 3 inches in length. I oiled the board and never left it wet. Luckily the return window was still open. It was really a nice looking board but needs a few tweaks on the teak!

Sturdy and big, but coating needed more time to cure
This is a great cutting board and it served me well this past Thanksgiving. I would buy it again. It is sturdy and provided plenty of real estate to carve a 15lb turkey. That said, I did observe that the coating on the board did not seem to be fully cured by the time I received it. It was still tacky in some areas. Fortunately I ordered the board early and it had a week to dry out on the kitchen counter. Also, it seems the drip groove is routed by hand, since there is overtravel in the corners.
