Not just for (boils).
I punched a hole with a stepped drill and installed a bulkhead valve. I use this 10 gallon pot as a bottling vessel for my homemade wine. Not planning to use for boiling just bottling wine. I love the gallon marks and the handles are welded on solidly. Yes it is thin stainless but certainly fine for cooking and bottling. And the price is attractive.

Brewing in my apartment
I’ve done a couple of extract kits in this kettle.I specifically bought this brew kettle because of the dimensions since I live in an apartment. I needed a lower profile and wider base to fit on my stove and below my microwave. Be sure to whip out your measuring tape, these kettles are HUGE.Worked out very well, quality stainless steel and easy to clean. The gallon markers are an absolute savior, I don’t know what i would do without them. I know i’d miss my numbers trying to estimate the amount of water I’d need.Recently bought a brew bag to start BIAB. Fits perfectly.

Shipped fast and i needed it
Used to make 5 gal of wort, I didnt have any of the issues anybody else did. It didnt dance on the stove or leak ect. Yes it is a little on the thin side, and a little flimsy. I may use this 3x a year. Itll last me a long long time. You get what you pay for. If you want to pay less then you should expect less

I am using this pot to heat apple must in a 5 gal still, a poor man’s version of a double-walled still. It doesn’t really matter what it looks like, and it just needs to hold and boil the water. That fact that it arrived bent was easily fixed.After one 6-hour run on the outdoor propane burner I can say that it seems to work well. It is the perfect size. No more burning of the apple must. It was easily cleaned after that and I did not notice any degradation of the material inside or outside. This should last years and if it does, it was worth the money.

Very lightweight
The pot is large and good for the big batches that I can or for smashing grapes for wine but the stainless steel is very thin and easily dented. I also do not trust the handles to pick it up when even 1/2 full and it can not be used to cook as the bottom is to thin and contents would burn and stick. Great for canning 1/2 gal jars of juice though. It is the only pot I have that it tall enough to hold the taller jars.

Works for great price
Great for the brewing I’m doing. But it is a bit flimsy. I use internal heating elements so no problems for me. But if you are using an external heating source I imagine you’d end if with some burning problems. Can’t beat the price!

Es una olla de cerca de 40 litros de capacidad de acero inoxidable y que en el interior viene graduado el volumen, con lo que ya uno puede darse cuenta de cuanto existe en el interior preparándose (esto es muy útil). La estoy usando para prepara cerveza artesanal y me resultó en extremo útil. Los materiales con los que está construida son de buena calidad. El precio considero puede ser bueno, aunque he visto otras en Amazon que de precio mas alto se ven de menor calidad. La recomiendo ampliamente.
