Perfect Slice Every Time â A Game Changer for Homemade Bread!
I absolutely love this Bambiisi bread slicer! Itâs incredibly sturdy and the bamboo material feels both elegant and durable. The foldable design makes it super easy to store when not in use, and the adjustable guides ensure each slice is perfect, whether I want thick or thin pieces. Itâs made bread slicing a breeze, and I canât imagine baking without it now. Highly recommend!

Best bread holder for slicing
I love this product. It is so helpful. I only eat fresh bread and never have I been able to slice it uniformly so I usually get the store to do it for me. Now I can easily do it myself. Great quality. Easy to clean and store.

Very n8ce, with 1 sortvof major flaw
100% unpaid and honest review here.Overall, this is a very nice, sturdy abd well built bread slicer. The knofe that comes with it is so far also very nice. It folds and unfolds easily, stores the extra piece and the knife quite well and while slightly shakey when cutting with it, really not bad at all. The bottom part you place it into catches all oftge crumbs. This is potentially a wonderful, near perfect piece, imho…with 1 caveat. (Read below)There are 2 things to consider here though, and one of them is a sort of major flaw which I moght be returming it over.1) it’s not adjustable for different width breads. Not a huge deal. I knew this and could tell when buying it. You can just hold the less wide breads up agsinst the far side when cutting. Problem solved. Easy peasy. Not a deal breaker.2) Here is the possible deal breaker. I included photos. We’ve only cut 1 and 1/2 small loaves of bread so far and just look at the deep gouges in the bottom already! My concern is that in less than a year or even the first 6 months. We will wind up slicing all the way through that bottom, rendering this item useless. If they could only have used a sturdier, thicker, treated wood instead of cheap bamboo just for the bottom part you cut onto. I mean. The bottom is literally a cutting board and should be a cutting board. Had they done that, this thing would be a 5 stars keeper. Shoot, I’d give it 10 stars then. I love everything else about it. Very sad the bottom of it isn’t up to par for it to last.If you don’t mind having to buy a new one 2 or 3x a year, then by all means..this is the one to buy. Or maybe you don’t cook bread all that often, so it won’t bother you if you can only use it for 20 loaves before you slice through the bottom slats. If that’s all you’re lookikg for, get it. You’ll love it.

Great for my bread loaves
I make a lot of bread loaves and sourdough bread and this is great to make the perfect slices. There are three sizes you can choose from and the quality of the slicer is great. It comes with a knife thatâs super sharp so it slides through the bread like butter. The slicer is easy to handle and I love that itâs made of bamboo. It even has a breadcrumb drawer so you donât make a mess while slicing. I highly recommend this for all the bread makers out there.

Nice looking set, but too flimsy for my sourdough
Really nice-looking set, comes in a nice bag and everything fits together well, but in practice, it’s just not working right for my tough sourdough loaves. As someone else mentioned, the knife should probably be a bit longer, maybe another inch or two, to make sure it doesn’t pull out of the slot when drawn back. And the bamboo guides just didn’t hold things firmly enough to work any better than freehand slicing (and I’m not great at slicing, hence my desire for the guide). In one of the photos or videos, it shows the person squeezing the slatted sides together on the loaf to hold things firmly in place, but mine wouldn’t let me do that without possibly breaking it. Kudos to the aesthetic and packaging, and maybe it works great for regular sandwich loaves, but just not for me and the crusty bricks I bake.

Works great!
I received this slicer for Christmas since I recently started baking sourdough bread. Decided to make sourdough sandwich bread and very happy to have this slicer. It works well and you can quickly slice multiple pieces. Am part of a Facebook King Arthur group and shared this photo. Everyone loved the slicer, seven people asked for a link to buy one. Being able to quickly fold this down and put it away is also great! If you are reading this, just go ahead and buy one!

It exploded! (They replaced it free)
Update #2 Over a year later and we still love it. We have and will continue to use it every 2 weeks. Eventually we’ll cut it in half and buy another one.Update #1: After reading my review the vendor contacted me and offered me a full refund.I took the refund and used it to buy this item again, hoping the second one would work as intended. It does. The sides pivot up and lock in place very smoothly. It works really good for slicing bread. Tip: let the bread cool fully before you slice it.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~The first time I opened it one side literally exploded. The part with all the slots must be cut before the bamboo is cured which caused it to bow. Then they put it together with tiny staples under pressure to keep it straight. One of the two folding sides fits very tight and takes a lot of pressure to pivot. The first time I opened that side, it burst into 3 peices, with 2 of them flying out.Rather then return it, I just glued it back together with wood glue. (I have years of woodworking experience and the right tools)We only use it twice a month and now know to be very careful when folding and unfolding it. We started making our own bread when the “Bread shortage of 21” happened and after realizing how easy it is and how much better the bread tastes (not to mention how much healthier it is without all those added chemicals) we just kept making it ourselves.Once setup, it works great.Tip: Let the bread cool fully before slicing.

Build quality is high, which includes the sharp, serrated knife. The cutting slats, as a unit, fold inward over the crumb tray, which altogether can be removed from the holding box. Altogether the kit fits into a bag & is easily stored in a cupboard corner. Whenever possible my purchases are from warehouse deals always providing me appropriate value for purchase cost.

Este producto no es muy resistente, al primer uso se despego de la base, cuenta con pequeños micro clavos que no soportan el uso cotidiano.

Molto pratico, mai più fette di pane storte. Sembra una scemenza, ma non saprei più farne a meno.
