Who wants to gather up beans or other objects after baking? This is a little miracle. This little invention makes it so easy to bake a flat pie crust. Just remember, it is piping hot out of the oven. The only issue is that it leaves little dents in the crust as it bakes, though that will be invisible to the eye but it also presses down on the dough a tad while baking (unlike a lighter weight, like beans). I still love it, especially to circle around the edges. I wish it were a tad bit longer in length to fill more spots. I should have bought 2 for making 2 pies, since I had to bake 2 pie crusts separately after lifting it hot off the crust with a fork and rinsing it off under cold water to cool it down and drying it with a towel.

The pie weights seem nice and I like that they can be cleaned in dishwasher. The weights are small and I will need another set or 2 to blind bake my crusts.
