3 years of use for my food dehydrator
I purchased 6 total mat’s nearly 3 years ago to use with my COSORI brand 6 tray food dehydrator. I have used them for almost any food you can think of- soups/ curries/ chili, jerky, fruit leather, fruits and veggies, and many other things. These trays are amazing. They still look brand new and are extremally easy to clean. They have been a game changer for making backpacking food, and also super easy clean up. As long as I have a food dehydrator, I will be using these trays!

It works well for Swiss rolls
I had to make a dessert for Christmas dinner so I headed to Pinterest to find a recipe that would impress the host & her guests. I settled on a Swiss Roll. I’ve never made a one & didn’t have a pan that I could use for one so I took a chance on this one rather than a traditional pan. I’ve used it 3 times now.First, the mat is THIN. When I unpacked it I was nervous that it wouldn’t be deep enough. It worked well enough with some issues. I think a slightly thicker cake might work better but, to be clear, this did work. I’m tempted to just use my cookie sheet next time since the little added thickness might help the cake roll better (or I just suck at it but the British Bakeoff’s Swiss rolls look much, much thicker than what this pan can produce). You will need a cookie sheet under this as the mat has no rigidity at all so you won’t be able to pick it up to put it in the oven once its filled with batter.I had read a few reviews about the silicone not releasing well so I used a cooking spray on it each time. For my first attempt, I immediately removed the cake from the mat onto parchment sprinkled with powdered sugar. It did release, although not perfectly cleanly. Unfortunately, that turned out badly as the cake stuck to the parchment. The second attempt I left the cake to cool in the mat which worked out much better. I scored the top of the cake before I started to roll it (per The British Bakeoff tips). It released with almost nothing stuck to the mat but the cake did have some cracking. It was tricky getting the mat out of the way while rolling but it worked. A week later I made another Swiss roll for a different event. Again, I sprayed the mat with cooking spray and let the cake cool in the mat. There was some minor sticking & some cracking but it worked and the cracks were easily covered with ganache.Cleaning this is a giant pain unless you have a dishwasher which I do not. Even with one, I’m not sure how easy it would be. Since this is super thin & flops about, it makes washing it very hard. It was extremely hard to get the cake remnants out of the corners and I was hesitant to use the bristle brush on it. Because this is silicone **everything sticks to it.** Each time I used it, I had to wash it over and over since there always seemed to be fibers from the dishcloth or a stray cat hair stuck to the silicone. The 3rd time I used it, it took 6 washings to try to get the little dust particles off of it – and I’m not entirely sure I was successful. If I ever try my hand at a Swiss roll again, I’ll probably use a metal pan lined with parchment just so I don’t have to worry about the dust issue.

Perfect for the home Baker.
I decided I wanted to try new way of making some swiss rolls. I’m tired of the super big ones, that tend to break on me so I found these cake pans. They are roughly 1/8 inches deep, so really no over filling. 12 inches wide and 15 inches long. So perfect for a small get together or just a surprise for the family. I used these with little expectations and I was blown away with them. They are super easy to use, clean and store. Nothing stuck, no tears or rips in the cake. I’m very happy with them and will be using them often.

Made in China
Iâm only giving this three stars because these are from CHINA. I typed in âmade in USAâ and this came up and had a good rating and I couldnât find a country of origin so I guess I stupidly assumed they were made in USA. They seem fine, planning on using them tomorrow, but why canât Amazon have some transparency by stating what country the product is made in, and try to encourage American made products. Seems like something that could easily be manufactured here.

Works prety well for the sponge cake of a roll cake eventhough the lenght is a bit short.
First experience positive. I used the pan to bake the sponge cake of the Yule log (bûche de Noël) I baked for Christmas. The sponge cake was perfectly cooked top down. The cake was quite easy to roll without damaging its structure. I only have one complaint. In my humble opinion, the lenght of the pan (12.45” ) is a bit short to roll a cake. 15″ to 16″ would definitely work better.

World of Difference for Air Fryer Oven
Our Ninja Foodi Oven came with what is possibly the least non-stick pan on the planet, despite claims to the contrary. We got this as an insert for the pan, and it works fantastic. Keeps oil from burning on the hot metal and prevents food from sticking. Works great for baking, air frying, roasting, etc.

Useless – far too thin for cake rolls, no recipes
If I tried to bake in this the batter would overflow the sides even if I just put a 1/4 inch of batter. They came with no instructions or recipes to explain why they are so short. I can’t use them.

No instruction on batter volume or baking time. Hard to use. Otherwise it is ok.
