Nice set with case; sharp knives
The serrated knives are the most impressive. They have a pointed tip and are sharp. They could double for everyday steak knives. Nice weight on each utensil and each came wrapped individually in a plastic sleeve. The fork tines are a little pointy; not rounded. Depending on your preference, this is good or bad. The elastic holds each piece in place well. Very firm. The case looks nice. It’s basically thick, solid cardboard, not wood, but the faux-wood finish looks real. A small piece of the case was bent and unfurling at the inside seam, but barely noticeable. On the outside there are impressions from the force of the elastic bands tugging on the cardboard. The only reason it is not a five is the storage case could be sturdier and I’d prefer more forks than spoons (not a coffee drinker.) But I purchased this knowing how many forks it had. It is a very great buy for the price. It would make a nice housewarming gift for someone in their first apartment. I will keep mine stored in the case with each use as long as it holds up.

We are trying to get two sets of black. Our first order was correct with two sets of black, however upon inspection one of them contained all pieces individually wrapped, the other had all pieces open, and several of them were dirty/scratched, no biggie, attempted an exchange, but we received a gold set. Returned that and separately ordered black, it arrived today as another gold set. Would be nice to get what we are trying to order.

Update: My son came home from university with this product in perfect condition, other than losing pieces in the rushed covid move out of the dorm. He loved them. Just bought a second set to add to these for my other son who will be traveling away from home for a six year physics PhD program. Canât find anything else of this quality for close to the price.I am sending my son off to university with these. This will be his first time living, in an apartment, away from home. Not a completely traditional set but ideal for college students and a lot of bang for the buck. They look great and feel well made, strong, and smooth. The knives being able to double as streak knives will be very useful. Subtle design on the handles is nicer than I expected.
