All expectations of our having decided to purchase Asurion Protection plan coverage for the Fiogohumi 12009BTU Portable Air Conditioner Unit we purchased from Amazon Summer 2023 were pleasantly exceeded when the unit recently stopped working late Summer 2024. I called the Asurion Customer Service # and received a prompt answer, professional and courteous assistance that resulted in a quick resolution after a review of technical trouble shooting efforts (per Ownerâs Manual), I followed to attempt to resolve unit performance issues. Bottom line, within minutes of the callâs conclusion, I had received an emailed Amazon gift card reimbursement for the unit original purchase price, was able to reorder a new replacement unit that Amazon Prime then delivered 2 days later. I bought the 3 year extended warranty from Asurion on a countertop nugget ice maker. It stopped working after 15 months. Asurion was notified and they promptly and with no hassle made good on their warranty, sending a gift card to enable replacement of the ice maker.

The chest freezer we ordered arrived in an already-opened carton with the freezer in the box with the freezer bottom on top. When we unpacked the freezer we found that the insulation on the bottom of the freezer was damaged and that the bottom of the box where the freezer bottom should have been when it was delivered was punctured. The freezer itself was scratched in several places. It appears that we were shipped a unit that had been returned by another party and then shipped out to us.
