This set of knives came with one of Amazonâs deals. It was a great price and I needed some new ones. I have never had a knife this sharp and cuts so easily. Unbelievable!!! Love them.

Wood Block
Enjoying these knives. I’ve purchased several Henkels and have not been happy or impressed. These are pretty sharp, nice handles and a good weight. Definitely a great value and quality for the price. The wood block is real pretty, solid and heavy.

Astercook Knife Set. I have never had a quality set of knives that actually match, are great quality and have a wooden block to store them. Now I do have the set of knives that I have always wanted.These Astercook knives are very attractive and look so nice nestled in their individual slots on the knife block. The knives are very comfortable to hold. The handles almost feel pliable but the material they are made of isn’t pliable. Holding the knives is very comfortable. The knives are very balanced and easy to use. The blades on each knife are serious sharp. The pairing knife works like a razor blade on a handle. I easily sliced the fat off of a ham today without wasting any of the good meat.The knife block is very attractive, well made and heavy. The knives all fit snugly into their slots. There is also a knife sharpener on the block so there is no reason to have a dull blade. The entire set is so attractive and functional; most definitely top quality in every aspect.The wait to have a top notch knife set was worth every minute. I expect to be using these knives for many years.If you are looking for an exceptional set of knives don’t hesitate to purchase these Astercook Knives. I cannot imagine anyone not being satisfied with this set of gorgeous, sharp knives.Highly recommended!!

15pc knife set with block
This is a truly lovely set of quality kitchen knives.I cook, a LOT, and have a fairly extensive collection of high quality kitchen knives that I’ve accumulated over the decades, but I’ve avoided the knives with storage blocks because they’re usually unattractive, low quality, or both. This set is neither.Each knife is polished to an almost mirror finish with finely honed cutting edges. The full tang design is both beautiful and practical because it adds strength and durability.The block also has 2 built in sharpeners with a rough and fine side to keep your knives razor sharp between uses. The block is lovely and holds each piece securely and safely.The inclusion of kitchen shears is a nice bonus. They’re very sharp and have the “swish swish” sound when closing that let’s me know the blades are whispering across one another and are in good alignment.The handles of all the knives are comfortable in the hand and have a good shape that sits well in the palm and indexes properly so that you know the orientation of your blade at all times.Add to all of the above, the fact that I was able to order these in my choice of black or white (I chose white) and you have a very happy customer!

Nice set and a great smaller sized block
Most of the knife blocks are so large lately that I don’t have room on my counter for them. This block is a good compact size but still has enough room for the essential knives I use daily.The block is solidly made and has enough room for 6 steak knives as well as the standard cooking knives. There is also a spot for a set of kitchen shears. The big plus on this one is the knife sharpening area. It’s useful to have the sharpener right where the knives are. I used to use a small handheld one but again, I needed to find a place for it.The knives that come with this set are solid. They are forged steel with handles attached. The blades are all sharp and the quality appears to be very nice. My only complaint is the bread knife. The serrations are so close together that they don’t slice fresh bread as nicely as my other bread knife that has much wider serrations.All in all, this is a good set for the price considering you get every knife you’ll need as well as a beautiful block to store them in.

A nice set of knives!
We have been using two knife sets which have been around more than 10 years. We have lost or broken many of those old knives, it was time for a new set. This is a great set for our family, replacing our old knives. The steak knives have good serrations on them (something we look for). The bread knife is long and does a great job on bread. The slicing knife did a wonderful job cutting and cleaning my apple. My wife commented that these are MUCH sharper than any of our old knives! Having the sharpener built in to the block is much more convenient than the one in my drawer. One thing I love is the solid handles. I had an inexpensive set with hollow handles and they felt cheap. But not this set! The handles are solid without being heavy.
