We became accustomed to being able to make quick tea/cofffee/hot chocolate without the normal coffee maker process.Crown Point Plaza at Heathrow used this exact kettle, and we found it to the smoothest operating, quickest boil and lightest most compact unit without sacrificing quantity of water.Purchased one and have been using it daily ever since. At less that $20 we began giving them away as house gifts, and everyone says it’s changed their daily routine. Bought 4 so far!The unit has a small base with plug that rests on your counter, and the detachable pot centers on the small post that activates the heating element with the pot.A flip down clear lever under the handle activates the heater, and automatically flips up when the unit comes to a boil, or you flip it off manually.The side of the pot has a clear viewport that allows you to see the quantity of water in the vessel.It takes less than a minute to boil a liter of water (max amount) and less time than that to make suitable water for immediate tea drinking.The stainless steel jacket on the kettle is easy to clean and maintains its shine. The spout is accurate and doesn’t drip or spill. The handle is ergonomic and comfortable to hold.Our unit sits on a 7″ tea box under cabinets at a 22″ backsplash height and has plenty of room to maneuver.Wish all household products had this high of a satisfaction index for us and were as reliable!

Kettles like this seem like a dime a dozen, interchangeable.I’ve owned three or four over the years.This is my recommendation. Very reasonably priced and very fast heating.You want me to quibble? OK, I’ll quibble: I wish the lid opened a bit wider. But that’s nothing.Works great, good price.

What would I do without this
This electric kettle is amazing. It holds a great amount of water, and heats it up so fast. Itâs very easy to clean. Iâm glad I purchased this. I remember having a kettle on the stove and it would take forever for the water to boil. This does it and probably less than half the time. Super fast. I like to look at this kettle because itâs simple and basic.

I bought this kettle in April of 2023. It’s in a camper so it’s had very little use. I would not recommend this kettle. It LEAKS! I’ve taken it all apart. No fix available. Total junk.

En los primeros dÃas de uso empezó a tirar agua justo en la unión de la base con la jarra, esto al servir el agua caliente, y a mes y medio de uso simplemente ya no prende. YA NO FUNCIONA, lo peor es que desde un inicio quise hacer la devolución y la página me marcaba error pero me dic8a que no me preocupara que posterior me llegarÃa la etiqueta con la guÃa, pero eso nunca sucedió por más que lo intente. Ahora definitivamente ya no me aceptan la devolución porque ya paso los 30 dÃas que se tienen para eso.
