Reasonably good affordable knives.
These are sharp out of the box, reasonably good and decent knives for the price. I bought them to add some paring knives to my regular knives.
I have been using them a little over a month.
They are small enough to work well, hold an edge reasonably well, sharpen well enough with an automatic sharpener and are cheap enough that if they get damaged, I wonât have a problem tossing them and replacing them.
Out of the box, they sliced through an apple easily, seeds and all. They were small enough to prepare it, but a bit more rigid than I expected. They peel a potato well, as well as prepare carrots, onions and other things paring knives are usually used for.
For expectations, I am pleased.

When I’m cutting fruit handle can get very slick and slippery. Be careful with your fingers, I sliced and pricked small cuts accidentally before I got used to them. No finger guard. Before you press down to cut be sure you have the blade side down! They’re really fantastic for very very fine work but handle with Care! Blade is thin and razor sharp. A snap to clean and great value for the money! This metal is unique and I don’t think it would ever rust. Easy to use once you get the hang of it.

Good sharp knives UPDATED
Been using these a while now. They are good, sharp, reliable knives that are a good size for general use. The handles have just enough grip to them so that you can keep control even when your hands are wet. My only slight gripe about them and why, perhaps unfairly, I took a star off, is that I wish the handle and/or blade were shaped so that you knew at a glance which way to pick them up.

What I mean is that most knives have a pretty obvious back to the blade so at a glance you know which side is the sharp side without really having to think about it. Same with the handle really. These knives are more subtle in that regard. The blade is almost uniform in shape both sides and the handle grip is shaped, but only a bit. Picky I guess, but it just takes that extra bit of looking and is not an automatic pick up and go type thing. I actually have taken black marker and put a line down the back of the handle. Weird and picky I know.
Still, good knives and happy I bought them.
UPDATED: Still happy with these knives, BUT I find they do have a weakness. If you are just doing light work with them then they are great. No issues other than the picky one outlined. Where I do have an issue is if you have something a bit heavier to cut. Trying to chop/cut something a bit more substantial and I have found that the knife wants to tweak and bend right at the handle. I’ve caught it and stopped pressure when it has started to flex like that so not had one damaged, but still a weak spot. I believe it is due to the design of the blade and the previously mentioned issue of the blade being basically the same on the cutting edge and back. If it had an actual thicker back that offered more structural support I don’t think this would be an issue.
So, depending on the jobs you usually use these knives for, this may not be for you. If light duty use is all you have then you should be okay.
