Good bowls but maybe a little small
These bowls are lovely. My only complaint is that they do not really stack. Also, if you don’t know bowl sizes, like I don’t, they may be just a little smaller than what you expect. However, these bowls look really nice. They are a good size for small servings and they are packed really well.

Perfect size, perfect shape & lovely color.
These are beautiful dishes. I use them everyday and the color black makes my simple meals feel elegant. After these few months they are still unmarked by utensils or the dishwasher. We have highly calcified water even with a water softener, but they are spot free as long as I use the right detergent, booster and rinse aid. I was using this all anyway because I donât like spots on glassware and cutlery anyway. These are perfectly pretty! And fun ð¤©

Came in perfect condition. Not super glossy (great because it didnât clash with my dinnerware). Perfectly sized. Multipurpose. Durable.These bowls were perfect for me. They are all the same size, great for portion control, and brings the rest of my dinnerware together. I have attached a couple photos for reference. The one with the rice in it is from this purchase. While I use them for regular meals, they are a perfect size for a quick bowl of cereal too. They have a little bit of weight to them given the material. Very pleased. 100% recommended.

Perfect for me
These bowls are exactly what I wanted. I have plenty of bowls which hold a hefty portion size. I wanted bowls that look attractive holding medium sized portions. For example when I prepare one 10 and 1/2 ounce can of Campbell’s soup by adding the additionally required, nearly full can of water or milk. I then want to serve all the heated soup in 2 bowls. Two of these bowls holds the entire prepared soup perfectly, and makes for an inviting and attractive presentation. That amount of soup served in my big bowls looks like I’m being skimpy. Not so with these bowls. It looks like full servings with some room for the addition of crackers or croutons. I also use the bowls to hold individual servings of some salads (such as potato salad & cole slaw.) The bowls are heavier in weight than I expected, which I like. They have a shine, but not a high shine. They are not dull or matte. Somewhere in-between in level of shine which I like. They wash up nicely, though I have not tried putting them through my dish-washer, and don’t know how they will endure that sort of cleaning. They arrived encased in thick styrofoam which protected them from damage during shipment. I was 100% pleased with this purchase.

Love these black bowls! They were packaged extremely well and shipped with care. The bowls themselves do wiggle a bit when stacking as they are not a perfect fit in each other. I only stack them by twos in my cupboard. The portion size is great for a snack, side dish, ice cream, etc. I have used them in the microwave just fine. Besides not being able to stack them high to save space, I will say they do show water spots when letting them air dry on my dish rack. The rest of my dinnerware is matte black, these are not. However, they are not high gloss either, I would say a semi-gloss. All in all, Iâm very happy with them, I reach for these more than my dinnerware bowls (as they are just too big most of the time).

Iâm not gonna lie Iâm a little nervous for these dishes cause I have seen reviews about Matte Black dishes having imperfections and getting scratched easily, even received broken pieces.Although I have those worries and I will update this review if that becomes a problem in the near future, I am very Impressed by the quality just out of the box.Absolutely NO imperfections or breaks in the bowls. Couldnât have been packaged more perfectly. They care a lot about the safety of their product.So far I say purchase it!

Fragile, nice design, gets hot quickly, and small
The biggest worry about these small bowls is that they are fragile. I would have preferred one large sized bowl or two medium sized bowls which were sturdier, because they break easily. It’s been 1.5 years, and I broke two of them early on (probably before fall of 2023 with it being August 2024 now). There is no easy way to hold onto them, which makes it hard to carry after food is in them, and if you use them in the microwave they get really hot quickly compared other bowls. Then, you have to use a towel, and good luck gripping them from the kitchen to the dining table.I give them three stars because I really want to purchase them again with the suggestion to make them larger, sturdier, and not get really hot so quickly after use in a microwave. The price is then a factor, and my feeling is $25-$30 would then be reasonable, but the $22 price tag they have now doesn’t fit these $10-$15 bowls. If you want to put cold foods in these, carry them on a tray (waiter style), and you don’t mind the $5-$7 additional pricing then go for it. They have an excellent design.
