Spot On
I was looking for reusable microwave cookware because my dinner plates donât fit in my microwave and I wanted an alternative to always purchasing steam ready veggies. This cookware is perfect. Iâve had other plastic cookware but Iâm convinced it holds tastes and smells. I love that this is glass cookware designed for the microwave.

These are the bomb if you like steaming!!
This steam bowl is awesome! Easy to use, clean and NO more toxic plastic steam bags. I just ordered the full set of four sizes!

Wasn’t What I Expected
I expected a bigger bowl…this doesn’t hold too much. Maybe I figured it wrong in my head before I ordered. I used it a couple of times and it steams ok but is heavier than I like.

Cooks broccoli perfectly!
This has passed the taste test for broccoli! Iâve never liked the way microwaved broccoli tastes (I like it boiled with a little water and not steamed). This cooks it exactly the way I like itâ¦in 3 minutes instead of 13! I like that I can store cooked food in the refrigerator in this dish, itâs very handy, and the size is good. I got the medium shallow size. Cooked asparagus, too, although I had to cut the spears in half. This dish will encourage me to eat more vegetables !

Nice replacement for the old one
I needed a new microwave cooker to replace on that I had used for MANY years. I chose this one to try and was delighted with it. Now, I am considering turning it into a set rather than this one piece. I particularly like the top with the pressure release valve on the handle. This makes cooking something like broccoli a snap. A few minutes in the micro with the lid closed produces perfect florets.Highly recommended.

Rubber seal holds onto odors
PRO- Glass instead of plastic- A lot of recipes fit this size bowlCON- Bacon came out too well done and I followed the websiteâs instructions exactly- Rubber seal holds onto odorsI donât recommend unless you know how to get rid of food odors that attaches to the rubber seal. If you do and can only afford one size, Iâd choose this one since a lot of the websiteâs meals use this size.

POTATOES! And more!
This thing is great! I’ve been using a large glass rectangular Pyrex dish to cook potatoes in the microwave but lacking a proper lid I always had to put plastic wrap over it. Gross. Now with this custom microwave dish I have a built in lid which handles venting and everything.I can fit 600g of small red potatoes in here no prob. Note that the lid does NOT have to close all the way, just as long as the silicon is touching along the edge without visible air gaps. Given larger potatoes it’s very rare I get to push the lid ALL the way down but they still cook perfectly.Metal around the edge was a surprise but with no sharp surfaces arcs can’t form so it’s safe for microwaves. Gotta love physics!Wish I had bought a slightly larger one but honestly – this is great for a single-person potato meal when those are on the menu. Highly recommended!
