Nice quality
I purchased open stock pans and pots of this Analon style cookware and needed a stockpot, and ordered this, I knew it was not as tall as an ordinary one, but I was not prepared for how big and wide it actually was when removed from box, I am keeping it and will use it but be aware it is larger than an average pot, the complaint I do have with this brand of pans is that the outside seems to scratch easily as I noticed some on my new pots after using a couple times…they do take a minute or two to heat up but they are heavy and hold the heat at a medium temp very well.

Just what I needed
I have been using this pan now for a few weeks and so far it has been great. I have been using it on a gas burner and it has worked great. The only thing that is somewhat concerning is that when using the lid you can hear it or the metal ring expand and it sounds like cracking. This may be perfectly normal. So far no issues but will update review if anything goes wrong. Also easy to clean.

I really like that I can make things like pasta and boiled eggs, and not have to set up a separate strainer. It is built into this pot. It comes with a handy cover that you can see through to see how the food is cooking and has a comfortable handle which does not get hot. I highly recommend this product.

In love with this little pot
From heating water for tea, to making a single serving of pasta, this pot is going to get lots of uses. I bought it specifically for the draining lid, which makes cooking and straining very easy. If I could list drawbacks it would be that it is a bit heavy and that it CANNOT go into the dishwasher, but it is a small price to pay for the practicality of it. IMO, Anolon HA pots are a quality brand overall.
